It provides wonderfully clean water for my family to drink, straight out of the refrigerator. It makes crystal clear ice cubes that cool off drinks without any odd taste.

Awful. It leaked water after initial install and attempted re-install. Ran gallons and gallons of water through it and it continued to put out black particles. I threw it in the trash and instead used the house brand from big box hdepot.

Lasted about 1 week before water flow was almost completely restricted. Fill line and refrigerator would vibrate and shake. Replaced this piece of junk with genuine GE MWF and it works properly again.
