Buy one!
I am primarily a guitarist and was looking for a short scale bass. This one is perfect for that purpose. It needed very little work out of the box, but would have been perfectly playable as is (I did a general setup) I own a few Mitchell products, and this one is no different- extra features/quality over the average budget guitar. I wouldn't hesitate to pay 50% more. Buy one!

Great little Bass guitar for 99 bucks
I wanted a short scale Bass . This was the best deal on line through Wal-Mart. This is a nice bass guitar plays great and shipping was very fast. It came in perfect condition .

to cut guitar has scratches on the finger plate an
the bass guitar was not new finger plate scratched up and the body had some kind of spots all over it
