Miyabi Kaizen II 4.5-inch Utility Knife

great knife when 8 in chef is too big but a 3.5in pairing is way too small

These knives are some of the best I have ever used and I have had many German and Japanese knives. I I have the 5.5 inch version of this which isn't on the website but I must say is perfectly sized and cuts everything I need with precision. the handle feels nice in the hand the the craft of the blade is perfect.

Light and Nimble with good edge and blade geometry and ergonomics. Great for everyday tasks like vegetable processing to trimming fat. It has quality Steel that retains a sharp edge and a great pattern to boot.

The handle is a phenomenal and comfortable shape, with great balance, making the blade feel weightless in the hand. The etched Damascus steel looks amazing, and the whole package seems to be sturdy, but not bulky.

This Miyabi knife is great! The size is perfect for smaller precise cuts and the handle matches. Very easy to handle and super sharp. My 2nd in this lineup and lives up to its name.

I have never owned any expensive knives so this was my 1st knife to see how expensive knives change the cooking experience. I was not disapointed. This knife was sharp and felt good in my hand cutting vegtables for salads.

Damascus pattern is beautiful and the knife has held a sharp edge. Generally more of a germam style knife fan but the release on this blade with food is excellent

This is a gift so I haven't used it. But it is one of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen.
