Shrinkflation is alive and well in the candy aisle. If you remember what bite-size used to mean, take another 20% off that and you've got what these companies are actually putting in the bag today. When I shared these with friends, the first thing everyone noticed was how small they were — not the flavor, not the packaging, the size. I'm done supporting candy brands that quietly shrink their product while quietly raising their prices.
Terrible customer service. The online listing clearly says 5 packs of chocolate, but when I went to customer service, the representative insisted that “5 packs” meant “5 kinds”, which is absurd. This makes no sense and shows a lack of understanding of their own product descriptions. The customer service was unprofessional, unhelpful, and didn't bother to listen or clarify properly. Very disappointing experience.
I bought a 5 pack and received 1 bag. Curbside pick up was unable to help, but did clearly see I bought a 5 pack. The Manager, Samantha, told me they do not carry a 5 pack and on her end there was nothing she could do. She was very kind and respectful and did understand and see that I purchased a 5 pack, but gave me the 1-800-Walmart number to call. This process took about 45min and I still only received 1 bag. I feel Wal-Mart did me wrong and the manager wanted to help, but couldn't.
My order is wrong when I did the coupon and I hit that it was five bags for 1998. I was supposed to get 2525 counts so that's 10 bags and then I had a $10 off thing they gave me I spent $30 but I'm only seeing two bags of candy here so you had false advertisement
The issue is not the quality of the Candy, nor the price really. It is more that the webpage describes it as a Multipack Quantity of 5. Of course I don't know how most would interpret that, but as someone who worked as a Sr.Systems Analyst in a detail oriented environment. If the intent was to indicate that the variety pack contained 5 different candy types it could have been written in a more explanatory manor. Example: multipack quantity of 5, while there are 5 differed candies in the bag, there are more than 5 of each type as the bag has a total quantity of 120. If divided evenly that would come to 24 of each type. So it is confusing as to where the multipack of 5 actually comes from. Many have and will continue to believe they have stumbled upon a great deal. Instead they will receive 1 bag of candy for 19.98 plus tax. Which is in reality a high price for the quantity and type which often retails for 14.98, even in your own stores
paid full price for one bag, even though I have screenshots of it being on sale for $4 for a 5 pack. tried contacting customer service %26 they told me it was specified for the 5 flavors in the bag. didn't make sense, considering they had the option for a 2 pack with the same amount of flavors.
I'm still waiting on my refund. It's been over a week. It said 5 pack but she said the website was not correct and brought me 1 so I asked for refund. I did curbside and attendant scanned my bag and told me I'd get text/email for refund. Have not received anything. Very disappointed.
Would've been nice to actually receive an online pickup order for once!!! Anytime I have ever ordered online and chosen in store pickup my order has never ever been correct!! Worst customer service ever! Granted I've only ordered from Walmart.com less than a dozen times, not getting my order correctly is the exact reason why!
The spark driver literally drove slowly by my house, and never stopped. Caught it on ring camera. Then marked my package as delivered lol. The picture was a really close up of my name on package, no background or nothing. Walmart refunded me back quickly!
This was supposed to be a multi pack bag order with each order being five bags. I placed order for two multipacks of five bags each per their website. Manager refused to honor saying "There's five kind of candy in the bag, that's what you get" I showed him the website said you could get two bags or five bags. He again said " look at the bag, it's the correct bag....it has five types of candy". I'm tired of wasting my time at this store. Multiple screw ups and the pick up manager is horrible.
