[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love M&M's so I decided to give these new marshmallow ones a try and I was pleasantly surprised by them. They have a crispy rice and marshmallow mixture in the center, surrounded by white chocolate and the classic M&M's candy coating. They are a little sweeter than I prefer, I think I would have liked them a little better with a dark chocolate instead of white, but they are still a good candy that I will enjoy eating.

That being said they're very sweet so they are not something you can eat the whole bag of which it's probably good for me. I like the crunchiness of the m&M's which is a nice surprise from the originals. These are styled like crispy rice treats. They're very reminiscent of it but I'm also glad that they don't use gelatin. I don't think there's actually a marshmallow flavor to them though like marshmallow extract. I think the marshmallow flavors actually just a sugar kind of like some other marshmallow brands of cereal. I like the pastel colors of the m&M's they are very thematic for the upcoming Easter holiday.

I do wish they were a little bit bigger but they have a good taste and are crispy on the inside with the Rice Krispies. I think this product would also be good if they did it with milk chocolate as well. This is definitely a fun variation though that I enjoyed.

The shell is the same thickness as other M and M's, however, the shell colors seem to melt off onto my hand faster than other M and M's varieties. I love and miss the crispy variety so these hit the spot for crunch and texture! My only gripe is that they only have marshmallow flavor in the after taste. The initial flavor is just white chocolate. I think the recommended portion size is good, any more than an ounce and I would be sweeted out.

There is no marshmallow. It says marshmallow but it is really sweetened dry cereal in white chocolate and a candy shell. I was wanting soft chewy marshmallowy goodness but it was overly sweet and very dry. It is very crunchy though. I am disappointed in the advertising indicating it has marshmallow. Also, it is a good thing I don’t really care for it because the bag is only 7.44 ounces!
