Mobil 1 Oil Filters are built solidly with very thick metal used in its casing. I use this filter on my Ford vehicles with an extended life oil filter to help push my oil change intervals to at least 10k miles or 1 yr, whichever comes first. It is noted that there has been a design change to the oil filter (see included picture) but it should not affect its performance.

All I use is the mobile 1 extended performance oil filter. I have seen several studies where they take apart several oil filters. Mobile 1 has the best reviews. Also, they take apart all of the filters and show you what they look like after heavy usage. Mobile 1 held up to all of the tests and came in first.

This filter does not fit my vehicle. However, I only use Mobil 1 oil filters. They have the best case rating of all oil filters made.

Item was left on step and got WET FROM RAIN. IT COULD HAVE BEEN PUT ON BENCH TO STAY DRY. ABOUT 3 FEET AWAY
