Mod Podge Unpainted Wood Resin Pouring Plaque, Leaf, 12" x 12"

This unpainted wood resin puring surface is great and allows you to be creative as much as you can! My daughters and I decided to use it to paint with acrylic paint so that they could also be involved in it and have some fun with it too. It has the river cut in to made more definition and texture to the wood surface and best of all ready for any creative ideas we want to put into our river decoration. We decided to hang this in our hallway to display our little masterpiece and my girls love looking at it!

This is a great project but for more advanced users. Some tips, the grooves are a little bit shallow so pour carefully. Use tape if you think youn need it. Add glass or additives before filling with resin,, trust me.I used crushed green glass and green resin to get max leaf effect. It took multiple days but it was really fun! I ended up painting it a dark brown and a dark green and am really happy with it.

I received this with a few other resin related items. I love how they are perfect for beginners. The example shows a beach scene...but I believe that if you turn it sideways you can create an amazing galaxy theme. Working with resin and this wooden plaque is so simple.

I'm looking so forward to making these coasters with my son this summer. They are very pretty and I actually need some for our livingroom. I wanted to show the finished product in my review but I haven't had a chance to get the resin needed to complete the project. I still feel as though this is a great introduction to resin and working with it. These will make a ink stained river flowing resin coaster and its a set of 5. I'm excited to get started and I would think anyone would enjoy a product like this if you enjoy making things.

These molds are really fun and easy to use with pourable epoxy. I made the mistake, however, of dying the epoxy with an alcohol ink and it bled into the wood really bad, which kind of ruined it. I think it will be okay in the end, however, with some strategically placed wood stain. It was really easy to just pour the epoxy straight into the Little River area and create a really cool coaster. I would recommend these to anyone in the beginning stages of using pourable epoxy, as this was a really easy step and did not take a ton of epoxy. Overall I'm satisfied with this product and it was fun to do with my kids. These well require some extra steps like finishing the wood and ceiling it with some sort of waterproof sealer.

This review is for the unpainted Leaf plaque for resin pouring. The plaque itself is perfect and ready for use. No need to sand it down or pretreat in any way. We used it as a decorative piece for a "wild one" birthday party, and had all the guests sign it. I added a picture of what the product looked like before we peed the resin and stained it. Would devonstellt recommend this.

These wood coasters for resin projects worked out to be a nice looking product. I thought they were a bit cheap looking at first glance but putting it all together they were fine. My daughter and I enjoyed making them our own! I would recommend, especially as a first project for resin. We are beginners and this suited our needs.

These would have been more highly rated had the glue that held them together not been so sticky that pulling the coasters apart damaged most of them. I sanded the ones not torn up and they did end up nice coasters, but I only ended up with two completely undamaged/fixed.

Review of Plaid Mod Podge resin pouring wood plaque The image on the label for this plaque shows seashells on the side, but this is in fact supposed to be a river, not the beach. I had to buy the resin to review this product which I thought was relatively expensive ($15). For those interested, I did see this particular plaque in-store at Walmart as part of a kit that has everything already ready. If you are going that route it would probably be cheaper than buying separate. I have not poured the resin for this yet. I looked online for instructions and it is a somewhat detailed process (supposed to wear a respirator mask for safety) and I haven't had the chance to sit down and devote the time to doing it yet. The “ends” of the river on either side of the plaque do not have a raised edge (picture attached), so you would need to put something there to keep the resin contained so it doesn't just pour off the edges. Also, the description for this says it's 12 x 12 in, but it's actually 12 x 10 in. Overall three out of five stars.

I was very unhappy with these coasters. The balsa wood was split and splintered in a few places, and I was unable to remove the sticky dots without damaging the coasters. It ruined my project, because where the sticky dots were stuck the paint or clear coat wouldn't cover. I was unable to give as a gift as planned. Very disappointing
