[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For our World Cup parties, we have always served Corona. For this series, we decided to serve Modelo Especial along with our usual brand. While most had heard of Modelo Especial, few had actually tried it. After giving it a try, our party guests were opening a second one! We enjoyed the robust taste sans the sometimes bitter taste that other brands have. I think I can sum up my guests reactions to the new brand by simply saying..... No Modelo Especial was left in the cooler while many bottles of our previous brand were still there!!!!!

The taste is deep and refreshing. The bottles are unique, which I also love. And to top it all off, my family and friends also enjoy it so I always have someone to share one with.

I've always liked Modelo, so it was nice having a few different options to put out when friends came over. The Modelo Especial had that classic lager taste I expected, the Modelo Oro was lighter and easy to drink, and the Chelada Especial added something different with more flavor. The variety worked well because there was something for everyone. Some guests liked the lighter Modelo Oro, while others went for the regular Modelo Especial. For me, Modelo Especial still stood out the most because it has that smooth, familiar taste I've always enjoyed. Overall, I thought the lineup was refreshing, flavorful, and a good balance of light beer, classic lager, and chelada-style flavor. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family who enjoy Modelo, lagers, or cheladas, and I would buy these again for cookouts, pool days, or having people over.

We all loved it, and it was actually refreshing drinking in the backyard with the breeze since our AC is out inside. We will be doing this again.

I wouldn't even really know that I was drinking beer as it had NO taste. Cold and refreshing...YES! I will not be buying this again. No thanks.
