I love this builder gell! The color is as it appears in the photos, a soft pink with a subtle metallic shimmer. It does settle to a very smooth surface. I hold my finger upside down so gravity draws the gell to exactly the right placement of the apex which it does. It's a little too shear to use alone as a backfill overlay because I could see the polish from the previous application through the builder gell. But that was easily cured by putting a layer of color over top before applying the top coat. if I was starting from scratch each time I would use this without any color applied over it. It's pretty enough to stand alone (with base and top coats of course.) Honestly I love this brand in general. I use their prep, primer, base, builder, color and top coat. The result is very beautiful and durable. I haven't had any chipping or pealing when done right. I redo only because the nail grows out. And I am finally able to grow my nails long with all the right layers on my nails. It's strong enough to hold the shape even though my nails are extremely thin and weak on their own. And the final look it gorgeous. I receive compliments on my nails and surprise people when I tell them I did it myself. I had to learn how of course. But the combination of products that I mentioned absolutely has the ability to look professional. It's really only limited by my skill. Like I said, I love this brand in general. But I wouldn't achieve the look I'm going for if it wasn't for their builder gell which is the backbone of it all giving strength and form. I have their builder gell in clear and their basic pink as well. I like those too. But this one with the metallic shimmer is definitely my favorite. The basic pink builder I will probably put in my kit for my toes and save this shimmery one just for my fingernails. Would I recommend this builder gell to a friend? Yes, I definitely would. And I would recommend the brand in general. I am finally able to have beautiful nails for the first time in my life because of them. I am grateful. 💖 💅 😊

I've been consistently using this builder gell over the last 3 years.I can grow my nails out so long. You Will need to purchase the base. but overall it's really solid product

Soft baby pink after 3 coats. Use the base and top coat along with it (have to buy separately from this biab)

It levels out by itself.So you don't have to worry about it, being bumpy or streaky. the color is a light pink, so that's okay.

Purchased to help my thin brittle nails get stronger and not break so often. Went on nice and seems to be helping give my nails a bit of extra strength. Took an extra round under the light to dry but my light is on the cheaper side so maybe that's why?

This was the first time for me to use builder gel so I dont have anything to compare it to but I liked it because it protects my nails when I do gel nail polish and glue on fake nails.

This polish smells bad plus it doesn't do the job. It never dries. My nails are messed up after I waited for an hour for them to dry. I threw it away. I'm very disgusted.

I have done my own nails for years and this builder gel was not super messy but didn't stay on my nails for more than 1 day before they started popping off. I followed the instructions to a t and know how important it is for the nail prep.

It would NEVER dry. It was a very beautiful color. I'm not sure if it was something that I did wrong.
