Modway Mila 6" Modern Style Memory Foam Twin Mattress in Gray

I brought this mattress for my daughters twin size day bed. It's honestly a little to big for it and hangs off a bit. But the mattress itself is really comfortable and nice. My other daughter now sleeps with her sister because of this mattress, so I'll be buying her one now as well.

Modway messed it up and instead of Mila sent Emma. The seller was prompt with responses and issued a refund without even asking to ship it back. Which means she lost money on this. Emma is no good, but the seller earns 5 stars because of the customer service.

Expanded to almost 7.5 inches right out of the packaging....no pinched or compressed corners or indents. Softer than other foam mattresses i've purchased. i'd call it 'medium-soft'.

I ordered this firm mattress for my elderly parents whom requested the firmest, memory foam mattress I could find for a reasonable price(they love bargains).After noticing my back pain vanishing after switching to memory foam they were willing to make the switch.Really lucked out finding this beauty of a deal.I myself have a medium firm memory foam so can definitely tell that this one for the parents is indeed the firmest memory foam I've tested out.I've never seen a pillow top encased memory foam mattress which this is.The memory foam ones I've seen usually come in a removable zipper cover and are squishy.It's quite wonderful.Will definitely seek this brand and model when I need a future mattress.After removing the mattress that came rolled up in a long ,cardboard box like a sausage that was wrapped in a plastic binder that was wrapped in a heavier plastic yet easy to remove with the careful cut of scissors,the mattress expanded right away to at least 9 of the 10 inches after I laid it flat on the box board of the bed frame.After letting the mattress breath from about 3 pm to 8 pm it looked as fully expanded as it was to dress with bedding as it was getting close to bed time.My parents are impressed with how thick and comfortable it feels.Neither of them ever sleeping on a foam mattress let alone a memory foam one.My parents and I are also happy that it came from an American made furniture company located in NJ.I can't believe this heavenly cloud came out of a box and not delivered on a silver platter(a huge one as it's a queen size mattress.)My parents are delighted as can be.I can definitely believe that this mattress cost almost $1,000 originally .I paid about that much in my younger days for a Sealy that wasn't as great as this mattress.If you're expecting anything firmer than you might as well sleep on a box spring or gym matt.Thicker mattresses tend to have more support unless the hard floor is more to your liking.Anything 8 inches and under is fine for a child/teen/short period of time but adults especially as we get older need that extra support so spring for a thick mattress if you want every curve of your body supported.The big price cut almost made me question if there was something wrong with this.It appears to be just a model a few years old they're trying to move but still make.But remarkable quality.Not heavy either.The queen mattress weighs just 42 pounds.To me thicker mattresses seem more luxurious so invest in one you plan on using at least 10 years.The company really impressed me that my upcoming furnishing purchases will be from them.The only difference it seems between this model and the newer one is the color.This mattress is a steal of a deal.

Once out of the box it took about 4/5 days for it to fully decompress. I was going to return it as I did not expect it to take that long. It is not as firm as I thought it was going to be. It's more on the softer side. I ended up having to get some extra firm pillows as this mattress isn't really firm at all. It's ok for the price but be aware that it is not firm.

A good memory foam mattress to get me by until I had the money to buy a good (and way more expensive) traditional mattress. It's definitely worth the money. My only complaint is that it is slightly wider than a queen size mattress, so it does not fit perfectly on the box foundation. A very minor thing.

It is placed in a right hand corner of the room The left half did not expand like it should have. I let it expand without use for 48 hours. Due to the lopsided and unevenness I can only sleep on the left side unfortunately. I have tried to sleep on the fully expanded right, but I end up just rolling onto the left. Because of the poor expansion of the left side it gets really flat to the point I can literally feel the wooden part my box spring under it. I actually get bruises on my hips because of the flatness and poor placement. I'm so disappointed. I wish I could get a refund… also the price I paid was $125 for a twin size. It's not worth the $210 they have it at now.

The mattress did not grow evenly. I let it rest for a week before i let my kids on it, and it still inflated only in the middle, the endes were still smooshed. Its been a couple of months now, and it is still the same way. I kept it only because i could not find anything cheaper, and since my daughter is still small, she is not utilizing the entire mattress, so sleeping in the middle works for her for now.

We first got a twin for our toddler. She loves it, super comfy since shes so light. But this mattress can't support an adult. It sinks down until you can practically feel the box spring. You CAN feel the box spring when you sit up on it. I am returning this one.
