It was a great price for both items. However installation was tough. Gas tank flange must fit in exactly the right hole sequence, and even then was hard. Gas gauge had virtually no instructions and unfortunately the wiring on my boat had been "homered" so it took awhile to learn a) that my problem was wiring, b) what wires I needed to find, c) finding and splicing them in. I learned that even if you have both a new float AND a new gauge you can still have wiring problems....my story.

I bought this for my club car golf cart. It fit perfectly into the factory opening. Overall it seems to be a very straightforward install and setup. I ordered online and picked up at the store. Didn't realize until I got home and went to install it that I was missing the gasket and more importantly the clamp that holds the arm together. The package it comes in sucks. It's a plastic bag that they don't seal, they just fold the open edge once and staple a cardboard label to it. I am not surprised that stuff fell out. I would have taken it back but I was using the golf cart that weekend and did not have time to wait for a new one. I cut a new gasket out of gasket paper and rigged up a new clamp. Bottom line is, I would recommend this product but make sure that you check that everything is there before you leave the store.

I would rate this fuel sender and gauge a 5 stars if the enclosed directions had been of any help at all. There were no instructions showing how to wire it up and few to show how to adjust it to different sized tanks. In this day you think these folks could provide a you tube video to show how it is installed. Stumbled through it and it works fine. Walmart delivery was great... arrived on time and picked up at the store.
