I have purchased numerous Moen Integra faucets over the years, but this time went for the upgrade to this high arch, single handle, pull out dual-spray nozzle. We could not be more pleased with the sleek and modern look, verdatile functionality, and easy-to-clean surface finish. A microfiber cloth has it sparkling with ease. Hope to enjoy many long years of service from this faucet in our busy kichen.
It's been 9 years since we installed this faucet for my client in 2015 and it is still working great
I really hope I have 'bought it for looks, bought it for life" because it looks great. The high arc is so convenient for tall pots, etc. I had a plumber install this and a bathroom faucet at the same time so I cannot comment about ease of installation. This faucet has a narrow spray so you must like that to get this style. Moen has faucets with wider sprays ( just look at the pullout witdh). The only thing that took getting used to is the new faucets are a little flow restricted to comply with water conservation laws. i.e. less water comes out. A Moen customer service person told me it is 1.5 gallons less than before. The faucet is not cheap but I am betting it will last. My last kitchen faucet broke off in my hand. I have the stainless finish and it is flawless and smudge-resistant. The faucet swivels and there is a ball joint on the part where the water comes out so that can swivel, too. It retracts well. Also Moen is very receptive to pleasing the customer. I thought mine came with a deck and it didn't. Moen sent me one with expedited shipping for free.
At this price range, nobody executes this modern tubular style better. I'm in the trade and am familiar with a wide range of brands. Yes the spray head is plastic, which is true of all brands anywhere near this price - metal spray heads transfer heat to your hand, and can fling and chip your countertop. Yes it's small in your hand, that's what you get with this narrow tubular modern style. Yes the button is small, which is necessary on a spray head of this size, and consistent with other brands. Regarding the 1 star reviews - the "tarnish" someone pictured in the gold finish, isn't tarnish but fingerprints. I see it all the time, the faucets just need a proper cleaning. The brushed gold finish does indeed pick up fingerprints, as do other brands of a brushed gold finish in this (and higher) price ranges. All brushed finishes in all brands pick up fingerprints, regardless of what the brands claim, and they're all harder to clean than polished finishes. For the person who said there's a non-standard attachment and they can't get the water filter installed - you don't attach the water filter *there*, you attach the water filter to the cold water inlet, and the supply hoses on this faucet are standard. For the person who said it comes loose and their handyperson can't it tightened, it sounds like the handyperson isn't using a basin wrench, which not everyone carries. The one that leaked could have been a number of problems, hard to say if it's the faucet. All of the negative reviews sound like people who didn't have professional support either in making the purchase or installing the product. I always buy from a local showroom and have a licensed, bonded plumber install it. Then it's installed properly and my homeowners are insured for even the very rare event of a leaky item.
This is a great faucet overall. It doesn't command a lot of attention like most of the more bulky faucets that tend to dominate the sink area. Although it's a modern style, its less gaudy profile also works as a transitional style. The only downside experienced so far is the loose fitting pull down (no magnet). If Moen could offer a fix for this nagging issue, I would change my overall rating to 5 stars.
I have the MOEN Kitchen faucent 7565. I can't see where to ask questions on your website. Well, it worked fine for the first nine months, now I have a pathetic flow of water and no instructions available as to how to clean out the filter in the faucet which is probably the problem. Poor Moen, Poor, and I was thinking of Moen for our bathroom remodel!
This is a decent faucet, but the fact that it's basically impossible to find adapters for it makes it unusable for my use case. I'm trying to install a Water purifier between the faucet and the pull out spray head...but it's impossible to find any adapter for this non-standard sized pull out spray connection (after some research I think I came to a conclusion that the needed size is 0.640 inches which closest fraction seems to translate to 41/64", which I'm not able to find anywhere). oh well...
The design and build feels great until you get to the pull down spayer, which is made of plastic and has a horribly generic appearance and button mechanism. I immediatly thought I had bought a returned item that had missing/swapped parts. I don't understand why the one part that is consistantly in your hands has such poor design and build consideration.
I bought this with my new home about a year ago and the base of the faucet has continued to loosen over time. We had a handy man come in and tighten it a few months back and now it is loose again. The design seems really poor. In addition the hose inside smells horrific and I had a hard time figuring out what the smell was. I bleached my whole sink to find out when I pull the hose out, the smell is there again. Not sure how to fix any of this and I'm now on the market for a new sink faucet. This sucks!
If style is the only requirement you are interested in, then this faucet fills the bill. Durability is another issue. Purchased this faucet eighteen months ago and it has started to leak. It leaks around the sprayer nozzle and sends a spray everywhere. The sprayer hose has holes in it and has leaked onto the cabinet base ruining my kitchen cabinet. The faucet has not received alot of use as my household is only one person. Don't buy this faucet - expensive piece of junk.
