Moen Chateau One-Handle Low Arc Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer, 3-Hole, Chrome

This is a like-for-like replacement installed by a plumber. The previous faucet was 14 years old and is by-far the most used faucet in the house. The single lever is the only way to go in a busy kitchen at mealtime, both before and after. The lever has a perfect feel, dispenses the right amount of water at the right temperature, and all with one hand. Based on my previous Moen experience, I expect this faucet to go a long time before needing repairs.

I installed this faucet today. The installation was very very easy and the instructions were excellent. I've installed many faucets in my day. This was among the easiest and it looks great. I am not a plumber, just a do-it-yourselfer. Anyone with even a modicum of skill could install this faucet. Kudos to Moen.

A plumber replaced this Moen like-for-like. It easily serves my kitchen sink needs for hot, cold, or in-between temperatures, and has a side sprayer. It looks good. Will last for years to come.

I purchased the 7434 faucet in 2007 and installed it myself. It was an ambitious project, but the instructions were adequate. The Moen customer service folks talked me through one potential problem. Two years ago, they promptly provided a new diverter valve. This week they provided a new cartridge and other parts with detailed directions to completely renew the faucet, all under the limited lifetime warranty. I am very pleased with the service provided by Moen. However, I think the rubber parts kit (92451) would have been adequate to repair the cartridge (1225B), rather than replacing it.

Purchased based on reliability. Faucet installed easily per directions. Finish and fit perfect. Experience with Moen products for years. Bathrooms and Kitchen units have performed with exceptional quality.

Really classy looking and nice to the feel. It is difficult to get the right level of "warm" however. The warm range is very narrow and it's usually too hot or too cold to suit me. Also, the oring seals on the barrel are too hard and don't seal well until they are quite warm and have been moved somewhat. Using cold water, or first thing in the morning, when the faucet is moved around while the water is running, it gushes all over the counter. Since the shutoff valves below my sink are way in the dark in the corner in the back, it is a project to change the orings. Does not make one happy.

This is a replacement for a different model that was not functioning properly. This works flawlessly. I knocked off 1 star because installation was more difficult than the previous Moen faucet.

I had this faucet for less than a year when it went out. It was probably the cartridge but I couldn't get it apart to check it so just had it replaced entirely, which was probably cheaper in the long run versus the plumber trying to fix it. After a few months the water flow suddenly became so low it wouldn't even activate my on-demand hot water heater. Water pressure elsewhere in the house was fine so it was definitely the faucet. I've never had one last for such a short time. if you buy one be sure to keep your receipt.

This faucet was installed in my home when it was built. I have experienced problems with the spout being hard to move and water leaking from the spout base when the water is turned on. I recently had to call the plumber for the 3rd time in 6 years to fix it. It is now being replaced.

I've had this for less then a year and it has stripped out and needs to be replaced.
