Moen Flo Smart Water Leak Detector

Good product and works well with the system as expected.

These are incredible. i recently purchased some with an install of the Moen Flo shut-off and they already detected a very small leak that i was unaware of. The cost from my plumber was $150 for the same box of 3 that i purchased here. These are a great bargain. These leak detectors are a game changer.

Setup: horrible experience. Each of the three needed to be connected to the WiFi three times (they were consistent at least) before they finally worked, so almost 1 hour each for setup. No other device has been this painful. Reliability: if I ever touch the sensor (which is in its case with a sensor wire) it immediately goes off, shutting down my water. Happened three times when my plumber was cleaning my pipes and tapped the main suit. Not sure why, but horrible behavior. Have not had a leak so do not know if they have an upside. 😋

The product I received was not brand new. Two out of three batteries were already out of juice and the third was at 13%. Fortunately the detectors themselves still work so I'm keeping them. But I should have received brand new product with new batteries.

We are happy with the water leak sensors. However, one of the sensors had battery removed and a loose used battery that had very little remaining charge was provided in its place. This battery died after two days.

I can't seem to get it synced with my iPhone/ipad/android devices. I get stuck at the part where I'm connecting the detector to my WiFi, that screen doesn't change at all!

The pucks don't link with the app even after multiple tries. There is no feedback or progress so you don't know if it is doing anything. The blinking led doesn't match the included info. I have no confidence it is even working when it finally links up. If I remove the battery, the app still thinks it is working.

Our plumber installed the leak detectors and we have experienced several issues. First, some of the batteries were bad and needed replacement. Next, 3 of the detectors wee bad and could not be added to the system. The biggest problem is 2-4 of the detectors drop every day. Some of them repair to the system but a few will not repair and have to be manually added back. Please help.

I couldn't get these to connect to my network despite the fact that I have three other sensors already set up. I took these to a nearby Walmart to return only to find out they aren't returnable because they are sold by a third party. Lesson learned! Be very cautious with what you order from Walmart if you are expecting usual Walmart services.

Only one leak detector worked.Needed new batteries
