Leaked from the base, just like others!

Anonymous July 12, 2020

I got this faucet through my builder for my townhome. In less than an year it starting leaking out water (hot water pipe) from the base and spoiled my cabinet. I would like to get a repair kit. How would I request that ?

Still Hopeful

Craig September 9, 2020

My most recent registered faucet was a warranty replacement for a faucet of same model installed 13 months prior. Am hoping to fare better going forward!

Love the look

Jay1 January 9, 2026

Like everyone have stated, me and my wife got the faucet with the home. The builder installed the faucet. Now we have water everywhere. It's like a pool under the sink and there's also water on top of the counter. I'm trying to revome the handle kit but the screw set is unreachable. Like I cant even tell what types of tool to use to remove the screw. I've used all types of L shape tool but the screw is blah. Any help?

Leaked out of the bottom, just like others!

ohioguy614 April 21, 2020

Wanted a quality faucet and liked the Moen brand and warranty, and felt this unit was also ascetically pleasing. Purchased from large online retailer on Sept 22nd 2018 and installed a few days later, install went great loved the look and was happy. Six months ago (would have been a year old at that point) the pull-out hose started leaking and had to order a replacement from a local big box retailer. Today on a Sunday morning we release we have had a steady leak of the lower assembly that caused some damage to the underside of the cabinets below the sink. Pullet the faucet out and did some testing to confirm it was indeed the Moen unit and that the dripping stopped as soon as the water supply lines were shut off. No local stores carry the replacement parts in stock, and we need our kitchen sink running ASAP so purchased another unit which allows us to get a functional unit the fastest (also a bit nervous about rebuilding the thing after ordering in the parts and having it leak again). Planning a kitchen renovation in the next year or two, and will likely replace with a better (and likely non Moen unit). Pretty annoyed to read other reviews complaining of the same thing, and having the unit approximately the same amount of time.

Rusted my brand new Quartz counter

Yaya33066 February 6, 2018

I bought this faucet 5 months ago and had it installed by a plumber in Oct. At the time I purchased it, I didn't realize the spout length was too short for my new sink. I had to purchase a new faucet with a longer spout length. When my plumber removed the Method 7585C there was rust underneath the plate and it stained my brand new Quartz counter. Very disappointed with the quality.

I purchased a new home 2.5 years ago and this faucet was installed by the contractor. Although I like the look of the faucet, there has been numerous times I have woken up or come home from work to find water all over our counter and the floor. As previous reviews have mentioned, it appears to be the black nut inside of the faucet that becomes loose. I are disappointed that such a new product has already failed. Please help Me resolve this issue with repairing or upgrading to a not so bad design faucet. before it gets any worse. Thank you

Leaked From Bottom

pimom April 29, 2020

This was working fine for a bit under a year, and like other reviews, it is now leaking at the base and I have to pay a plumber to come to replace this as I can not do this myself. Very disappointed. My last faucet lasted 18 years, this one did not even last 18 months!

3 of the 8 faucets failed

Greg January 10, 2020

I purchased 8 of these 1.5 years ago through my plumber for a townhouse project. 3 of them have leaked out the base causing damage to the cabinet. Replacement parts wouldn't do any better because the black plastic nut comes loose over time causing leaks. My guess is this wont happen til after a builders one year warranty expires so homeowners (or landlords in my case) cant leave a realistic review explaining lack of reliability. My fix is wrapping black plastic top nut with teflon tape and reinstalling. Ill likely replace the whole faucet eventually for piece of mind

Faucet Leaks at Base

Brian November 21, 2020

I bought this faucet the first time in July 2019 and after seven months of use, it started leaking at the base. Given the short period time, I thought it was one-off problem with that specific unit, so I returned it and purchased a second one, same model. After eight month of using this second faucet, it has now started leaking at the base again. I wish I had read the other reviews on this site before purchasing. I would NOT RECOMMEND this product.
