I've purchased a few Ice makers and was consistently buying Frigidaire ice makers. Tried this one to try something different and I LOVE IT. You just have to be careful not to over fill with water as it will overflow when you close the door.
U bought this for my son because he does not have an ice maker for Christmas. He loves it and it's mashed ice quickly.
I am pleased with the ice maker. I was surprised to learn that I needed Spring water to make ice. I had to order Spring water before I could use it... please let people know that.

This ice maker is perfect for a small kitchen or space. The ice is great and there are multiple options for the ice cube size. I love the ability to toggle on and off the light. The only true downside is that this thing can be quite noisy. It is also a small capacity, but it produces ice very quickly. I honestly think this is such a fantastic value for the money. I bought this with low expectations and my whole household loves it. Great if you don't have a fridge with a built in ice maker, if you're renting, or if you just need some ice in the summertime!
size of ice is nice but occassionally it gets a little slow, I don't know if it's because it's getting warm or what but it is a nice icemaker.

I don't recommend this particular product. The ice begins to melt as soon as it drops and continues melting until it recycles itself back in to the ice making process again. I wasted my only money. I wish I could get a refund so I could purchase a different model. But I don't have the box. It took me 3 years of wanting an ice maker only to finally have the money and I chose the wrong purchase model.
It made ice one time and quit working. I need to know how to return it.
