I have a small laundry room that can get a damp smell. I purchased this and I replace it every 35-40 days. It does absorb any smells and there is no large lavender smell.

I had a room that I could not get the smell out of it I even steam clean the carpets I did everything I could spray the carpets with colloidal silver all kinds of stuff I mean everything nothing would take that stand out of the room I put one of these in the room and I shut the doors let me tell you what a few days possibly a week later I noticed that it stopped smelling this will take out file orders out of a room and all the moisture out of a room it really really works and has a really pleasant sense not a chemical scent I have chemical sensitivity and I can use these it takes all the moisture if you put these under your bathroom sink I put mine over by my toilet any kind of moisture in the air will go straight to it it gets rid of that mildewish smell in your bathrooms and stinky smells out of your bedrooms excellent product I just wish the lavender set would last longer

Takes moisture out of the air. Thereby, eliminates that musty smell. I would also say that it helps to keep mold from forming in dark or damp places.

Had problems with dampness and associated odor in furnace closet and this has truly seemed to calm it.

These moisture absorbers does a great job keeping my basement and coat closets dry and fresh smelling. The lavender smell is nice but slightly strong depending on where it is placed. The smell doesn't seem to permeate into the coats but I prefer the scent-free version for the smaller closets. We use a dehumidifier in the basement with two of these lavender tubs tucked in corners. Great that these tubs can be refilled.

I've always bought the Fragrance Free Damp Rid in the past, but for a few pennies more, I thought I would give the lavender vanilla scent a try. I like it. Jst a very faint, fresh aroma.

Great product and smell for what one needs living in a damp climate. Get the refill jug to go along with the containers (which do have the white crystal chunks.. You will need the pull out conatiners.

DampRid is a great product for tackling moisture and mold , especially helping eliminate the order they cause . It's easy to use and the refills save money . I like that this one has added a pleasant scent , great for my closets and utility area .

My bathroom gets very damp and muggy in the summer. These not only have a pleasant Lavender/Vanilla scent to cover damp odors , they really do remove the extra moisture.
