I bought this for my niece who has some disabilities. She is autistic and can remove a regular vest and she's between the sizes of a child and the small adult for the life vest we found this and it works absolutely wonderful. It fastens in the back so she can't reach it to snap it. She is a daredevil when it comes to the water and she just jumps right in and floats right back up and she loves it

Very nice float for my Granddaughter. She is able to swim head up with this device. Perfect for our needs at the time.

My 50 lb. granddaughter, age 4, needed floaties that supported more weight—- her original floaties had been wonderful, but no longer helped her feel secure in the water because she floated lower in the water at 50 lbs. and seem less stable, also the original floaties were fitting very tightly on her arms. So I searched Amazon for larger floaties and found these that support up to 70 lbs. and they have been great! The arms are shaped differently and fit perfectly. The straps are secure and need you to push a button to release. I highly recommend these for children 50 lbs. and am so glad that I bought these! Thanks Amazon! P.S. I do not recommend for lighter weight children because the back straps may not pull tight enough.
