Momentum Meri Smart Wi-Fi Thermostat

This unit was terrible. I was really excited to get a smart thermostat but this one was not. I had issues with reading the temp in the house correctly even after the firmware update. This thing was off by ten degrees so had to reinstall our old manual one. Would not recommend to anyone. Even at the clearance price of 19 I bought it for.

If I could give zero stars i would. The temp on this thermostat is all over the place. I have calibrated and re-calibrated the temp but it is always off. So, either my house is freezing or really hot. I'm afraid to see my heating bill. Don't buy this! We threw out the packaging as soon as we installed it and I have no clue as to where the receipt went so I'm stuck with this.

After a couple of months, in the middle of winter, the heat randomly started shutting off and not working. I'd leave for work and it was 70 degrees in the house and when I would come home it would be 55 degrees or I would be sleeping at night and then wake up freezing cold. Luckily, my pipes never burst or frozen but BUYER BEWARE!! I had to remove and reinstall my old "dumb" thermostat that I never have had any issues with.

The temperature keeps going up and down and doesn't stay steady. Totally piece of s***. Don't burn your money on this thermostat. Cheap brand that just wants people to burn their money.

Don not buy wast of time and money

Do not let all the 5 star “Reviewed as part of a promotion” reviews on here fool you. You get what you pay for and this is no exception. The touchscreen is highly unresponsive and the thing jumps temps a lot, sometime by 3-4 degrees so hard telling if it accurate. Don't even want to get into trying to get the app and pairing, I'm tech savvy and this thing made me mad. Spend extra money and save yourself the frustration on this junk.

Tried two of them. Neither worked with 24 VAC across wires at thermostat (Rh with each of the following white, yellow, green, common). First one didn't turn on. Second one turn the backlight on, but wouldn't start. Their customer support is only available Monday through Friday 8-5 (they don't say which time zone). They take multiple days to respond to email and I was on hold for over an twenty minutes before I gave up and had them call me back (although they did call me back the same day).

this thing is insanely wrong and now I see other reviews said the same. bought on sale for $75. returning today after a day of using. the temp bounces everywhere. I have other clocks with temp display that always matched previous thermostat and so right away we knew it was off. even after calibrating it does it's own thing. it was 68 in house while this crazy thing said the range of 63-83 which obviously also means your furnace can't keep your house at right temp because it never new the correct time to turn on. absolutely pathetic that this could be on the market with all the others having same issue! returning today!

This is junk i installed an was anle to hook up to my wifi but the app is junk couldnt scan the QR code or even pair using mac address. Even. Manually trying to turn air or heat on woukd t work. This thermostat looks cool but its really junk dont waste the $107 on it. Im taking mine back first thing tomorrow.

The only reason I give this thing one star is because there is no option for 0. After I installed it and connected it to WIFI, the nightmare started. The thing jumps temps a lot, sometime more than 5-7 degrees, Even jump directly from 82 to 73. Never accurate. So my AC units go crazy, Start working, then stop after two or few seconds. Ok, I shouldn't ask too much for a 99 dollars smart thermometer.I set the temperature lower, and if it can ensure the AC keep working, I will endure it. But, today, this story has come to the best part. The touch screen died this morning, after only four and half days of work! Well, at least I learned that I got what I paid. Send it back and leave the comment: DO NOT BUY IT!
