Mongoose 20-in. FSG BMX Bike, One Speed, Black

This bike is perfect for my 8 and 9 year old. It looks cool, goes fast, and rides smooth. It was really easy to put together when using the instruction manual. It is very well made and I see it lasting many years so it can be passed down to others in our family. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new bike.

First things first, this bike has been awesome so far! My son has really enjoyed it! The first thing that I want to talk about when it comes to this bike, is the assembly. It does take some time to get it assembled, because you have to do all of the assembly yourself. So, if you are planning to put this together, make sure to carve out enough time to do it! Also, you have to use your own tools to get it assembled, so make sure you have all of the tools you need! The instructions on how to put it together are easy to read though, and easy to follow, so it's easy to get it together other than the time it takes! The biggest thing that I noticed about this bike, is the quality and durability of it! It is made from high quality steel! The kind of steel used makes the bike lightweight, but strong at the same time! This bike doesn't scratch easily, or bend. It is just super durable, so far! This bike is also single speed, which is nice as well. There are brakes both in the front and in the back. This makes it a lot safer to use, and the brakes are quick as well. This bike also comes with 4 pegs AND a cable detangler, so you can use it to do spins and tricks! It is very versatile and fun!!! One of the cool things about this bike, is it can be used by girls or boys. The color is black and pink, but anyone can use it! I personally love the pink speckled look it has! It's like someone flicked pink paint onto the black paint. It makes it look really cool. It may be pink and black, but like I said, it's not just for girls! Boys like it too! All in all, this bike has been awesome. It has provided many hours of fun for my kiddo! I can see us using it all of the time, while the weather is nice. I highly recommend this bike to everyone. Boy or girl, your kiddo will love it! It's so easy to ride, and is smooth when riding it! And, it's fun! What else can you ask for in a bike? Give this bike a shot, you will not regret it!!

The pink on black looks very nice, and I love the pink speckles over the bike. It also looks nice when a little dirty, which really helps... It seems sturdy and well made.

Good looking bike my daughter love the color course very simple to put together if you follow the instructions correctly, very good quality I think ,so far so good highly recommended.

Perfect size for my 9 year old who is 5' tall she loves it. It is built very well.

This bike is frickin awesome ! I bought this bike for myself and I'm 40 ! Been riding for a long time and when I saw the price I couldn't believe it ! This is literally a pro bike ! I read other reviews and the only thing I saw was some fool whining about a flat tire , given that doesn't have anything to do with the structural integrity of the bike , I give it a 10/10!

Great bike, my daughter loves it, rides smooth but the only issue is the breaks can be a little tricky when adjusting. Overall good bike for the price.

The box was damage I haven't open the box yet do to the fact I'm out of town. And it's a birthday present for my granddaughter, and her birthday is not until December. plus she lives with us lol and she is very nosey lol like her grandma. I grew up riding team mongoose, so hopefully the quality is the same.

Just received this bike for my daughter. It is a very nice bike, but when we put it together the back rim is really bent. So now my daughter is completely disappointed because we have to wait longer and see what we can do. Not sure if we can get a new back rim sent to us or not!

For the price it is an ok bike. I did expect more being that it is a mongoose though. When. We got it, the box was beat up. We took it out of the box and right away noticed the scratches. The handle bar grips also had slices in them, which means they wont last long. Definitely not thrilled with this purchase.
