Mongoose 24 Girls Xr-75

I am a 5 foot adult and this bike works great for me. My first time riding I fell in love!!! This bike is not too small nor too big but JUST RIGHT. The only suggestion I have is buying a gel seat cover because the origanal seat has no cushion and is very uncomfortable.

I purchased this bike for my granddaughter who is 12 years old. She lives in another state so I have not seen the bike in person just on line and the photos the kids sent. My granddaughter was thrilled as this is what she wanted for x-mas this year. Purchasing on line was very easy and they were able to pick it up at the store with no problem and the bike was all put together for her. She was so happy my daughter said she rode it right out the door. My granddaughter is an average height and weight for a 12 year old so the bike was a good fit for her. She is a bit rough on things and already had a flat tire within the first two weeks of riding, kids will be kids. I am sure this bike will get her through a few years and I would recommend for the price.

My husband and I order the bike online for 1 of my daughter's Christmas gifts. The bike was a little bigger than i thought but seeing as it is winter and children grow like weeds I think it will be a perfect size for the summer. My girl loves the way it looks and we love the price and convenience of it being delievered to our house and it maybe took my son 5-10 min to put it together. All in all I would highly recommend this product.

I have a slight problem with 24" bikes being labeled "girls" bikes because I am 33 and 5'3" so I am no "girl." That being said, this is a great bike for a small woman! The suspension is great, gears shift smoothly, color is very pretty...the only downfall is the seat - it is harder than a rock. I had to spend about $25 on a new, cushy seat. For the price, this is a great bike! I even have a weeride kangaroo seat for the front and it fits the frame just fine. I can pick the bike up to mount it on our bike rack. I would definitely recommend this to a girl or petite woman :)

I ordered this bike online because it was not available at my local store. I was very satisfied with the delivery time, it got here faster than I expected. I'm 5' 3" and this bike is the perfect size for me. I think they should not call it a girls bike, because I am not a girl. The only complaint that I have is that the brakes were a little difficult to get adjusted properly. But over all I was very satisfied with my purchase.

Great value, arrived quickly, store pickup faster than buying in store. Carton fit easily in backseat of 4 dr Honda. Easy to assemble. Required metric allen wrench and several metric open end wrenches. Only adjustment necessary was tension on brakes.

Bought this for my wife who is 5'3" She likes the look and the size suits her well and feels like a better fit and more manageable than an adult sized bike. For the money, I don't regret the purchase. You must be able to adjust the brakes and gear shift cables and have some basic tools handy before riding for the first time. My main issue was that the handle bar was very difficult to secure... despite tightening hex screw to the maximum.. I found a solution by researching online. As other reviewers mentioned, some adjustments must be made to make sure the brakes work properly... but it is easy to figure out upon reading the manual or watching a youtube video.

My daughter saw this bike at the Plainfield Walmart and wanted it for her upcoming birthday. I didn't get it at the store because I had nowhere to store it until her birthday so I went to Walmart.com and saw that they had it available online and ordered it while my daughter was gone at her dads. It arrived within 3 days which absolutely surprised me! Fast delivery! My sister and I went to put the bike together. It came basically put together except for the front wheel, the seat and the pedals. No problem we thought. While I was looking for the screw packet, my sister pulled out a bolt a screw and the lever to raise and lower the seat. They were the only parts in the box to put the bike together. I called my Plainfield Walmart store and explained the situation. They told me to bring the bike to the store and they would replace it for me. When we got there they didn't have one in stock so they gave the option of exchanging it for a different bike or they would put it together for me. Since it was the bike she wanted, I chose the latter offer. They had it put together by the next day. The manager said the associate that put the bike together was shocked that the components weren't there. Kudos to the Plainfield store CSR desk associate the manager and the associate that put the bike together for me. My daughter came back from her dad's saw the bike and has been riding it ever since. Don't be afraid to order anything online from Walmart. I have done it several times and have been completely satisfied with my purchases or made completely satisfied if I had a problem

Brakes were problematic when picked up. I've had several people look at them and they are junk!! I wouldn't recommend this bike to ANYONE! It"s a great looking bike until you're trying to stop and people can hear the squeal all the way down the block?! Who wants that?! My daughter HATES her new bike as a result and I don't blame her! :(

Daughter wasnt riding it and I wondered why. I said why are you not riding you bike she said it was too hard to shift gears. I went out and yes it was hard to shift for me. then the shifter fell apart in my hand. Of course she got the bike for christmas and this is early spring so its past the return date so I have a unusable bike taking up space in my shed.
