Good looking bike. My son likes the gold chain drive and pedals. Easy to put together. Weve taken it on sidewalks and some easy trails. My son is turning 9 and the size works well. The price is right for this bike.
Chosen by my grandson. He likes the look, of course, but after test riding several brands he went back to this one. For a 20" it has a lower frame to floor ratio, which is helpul for boys who have shorter legs. The bike brand lives up to its reputation and seems quite durable, comfortable, and of quality.
I purchased this bike for my 7 year old grandson for his birthday. It was delivered to him in VA within a few days. My son said the assembly was easy with the instructions. The bike is sturdy and looks great. My grandson is a happy rider. Thank you Walmart for making shopping easy and for an easy way to buy and have it delivered to someone else. It is a great bike.
Great entry level BMX brakes are kinda squeaky at beginning but they quiet down and this bike roars!
For every body writing reviews for the Kidd’s not being able to use the brakes, this is not a bike for 6-10yr old kids. This bike is for teens, they have bikes for kids under 14
Great bike! My done is 7 and went from a 16" to this 20". He is 48" tall which is just under recommended height of 52" but just dropped the seat and leaned handlebars back. Took less than 30 min for him to get use to riding it and loves it. Kickstand was really stiff though so swapped it out with something a bit smoother.
The bike is great for the price. I bought it for my son for his 7-yr bday. The bike is a little big for him. He could probably ride it but braking is the issue. The brake levers are a bit to far for his hands and you have to apply decent pressure to squeeze which he couldn’t do right yet. Luckily my other son who is 9-yr old decided to switch with him for now. The instructions that came with it was the wrong booklet. It was for a mountain bike instead of the BMX bike. Luckily I knew more than the basics to put a bike together but with the gyro neck I had to use Youtube. The pegs are a great add-on but for now I left them off since they can catch an ankle or shin if you’re not careful. For the price you can’t beat it.
I bought this bike for my 9 yr old son less than a month ago. He hasn't ridden it much since it got a flat 3hrs after bringing it home. I replaced the garbage tubes that it came with and it seemed to ride well. Today the front fork managed to snap off, causing a pretty scary crash. Don't bother with Mongoose support either. It doesn't exist.
Very good purchase and bike but it did not arrive complete, some pieces were missing, pedals and screws to adjust the rim and rims pegs
Quality is bad! The padel was broken can't repair it. Only way to get new crank and pedals.
