Mongoose Excursion Mountain Bike, Boys', 24", Black/Neon Green

This item was professionally put together; rides nicely; changes gears smoothly, and was voted an easy bike to ride by my granddaughter and her friends. It's substantial; and feels like an expensive mountain bike in its handling.

Great bike for a great price. Easy to assemble. Only thing they forgot to ship was the clamp to the seat. My son loves the bike and the tires are great quality.

Bike is great. Bigger than we expected. Older son has another brand that was supposed to be the same size, but this is definitely larger. My husband got the guy at Walmart to assemble it, even though he said they normally wont assemble for online purchases (despite the website indicating otherwise). Overall, we are pleased with this bike.

This was a perfect bike for my 12 yr old grandson. Sturdy and we'll built. He loved the Cool green.

It took me about 90 minutes to put this together, including gathering the tools and lubricant. You will need a lithium based grease to complete assembly.

I never write reviews! I bought 2 bikes for my grand kids. 1 we had no problem with the second the brake system was all messed up. We tried online looking for a problem solver or a way to get new parts!!! Still bike not fixed and no one to turn too!!!!!!

First and possibly last purchase through Jet. First of all UPS delivered to wrong address, not Jet's fault, but then a day later and after a bunch of frustration tracking the package down, bike was either poor quality or a disassembled floor model repackaged, assembly was virtually impossible, handle bar shaft slightly bent, then hex nut on handle bars was completely stripped out on a new bike? Had to take to a local Bike Shop to fix and complete the assembly at a cost to me of $79, which I paid just to put all of this garbage fire of a bike behind me. VERY VERY disappointed especially being a first purchase from Jet.Com. It's a cheap boy's bike, if you have time, patience and willing to be frustrated, go for it, otherwise, stay away, pay extra money and buy from a local bike shop, may cost more money, but probably worth not having to deal with the aggrivation. If my son wasn't in love with the bike I would have returned it for a refund. Buyer Beware on this one!
