Surprised our eleven year old great grandson when we took him on a camping trip. He had outgrown his 22” bike. Had a little trouble getting on it at first, but he got the hang of it quickly. He loved it!
Bought this for our 8 year old son. Box was damaged during shipping which bent the front wheel. Walmart.com immediately sent a new one and gave me 30 days to return the original so we could still give it to him on his birthday. So far he really likes it. Quick and easy for my husband to put together and he felt its quality was very good as he did so.
This is a very handsome bike! My boy loved it. Two downsides: it is kind of heavy for an almost 12 yr old, and putting it together was hard! The instructions weren't that good so we have to support with other youtube videos plus one of the nuts to adjust the handlebars was so hard to remove. In the end we put it together and it's working. So all in all, a good buy and a good bike.
My very tall nine-year-old fits nicely on the lowest seat height of this bike (it was that or being at the very top end of a 20" bike). It has all the features of a bike for older kids, which gives us some challenges. We are still working on the concept of shifting gears and how to feel the bike has shifted successfully, but the gears are very solid and protected. The shocks are nice too. It was very challenging to find a bike that was not massively expensive for a kid who intermittently rides his bike; this one for the bill very nicely. My son loves it too.
Great look with a very smooth ride . My son loves it!!!!!
Have had it a week, and we are very pleased! WalMart's price was excellent, the bike came fully assembled and in great shape. Only complaint is that the gears are a bit rough sounding when shifting, and the gear handles seem a bit lower quality than rest of bike. BUT, for a 13 yo who rides it in a subdivision, it's working perfectly.
Great, strong and beautiful bike for my 10 years old son. My son love it is a great value for the price wish the instruction be more clear and strait to the point as I put it together for my son and I'm a single mom I had a little hard time but I did and love it . Looks great!!!!
I bought this for my son because it's described as having an aluminum frame. Well, if magnets stick to aluminum, I missed something in science class. (See photo attached with magnet stuck to the frame) The whole thing is made of steel. I could not find anything aluminum on the bike except the rims. The thing is a battleship...well built and heavy, if that is what you want, but I was after a lightweight aluminum bike. Compared to other kids bikes at this price point the quality is good. The twist shifters are still tight and hard for a kid to twist, but they dont feel Apoorv and Omar cheap that theyll break after a few twists. The derailleur is pretty cheap, with plastic parts and a lot of noise, but I didnt expect better at this price. In summary, it is going back because the description is just flat out wrong. Too bad, because otherwise a nice bike.
You cant even turn the wheel on this bike without it knocking your foot. Dangerous.
the chain keeps falling off and not easy to put together
