Monopoly Animal Crossing New Horizons Edition Board Game

It's super simple to set up and get the game going. I even joined in on the fun with them. We enjoy using playing Monopoly every night.

It is literally like a paper version (plus regular monopoly) of the video game and keeps you engaged with each other instead of just hooked to the screen. The little characters and game pieces are unique to the game, and it comes with a specialized game play detailed booklet to help you navigate through it's uniqueness. Great quality game oars, and great quality time with family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried out the Monopoly Animal Crossing New Horizons game board. It was easy to setup with my 8 year old grand daughter. The game was easy to play and to understand the rules. We liked the game pieces(characters). They are light and easy to move around while playing the game. The board game feels very well made. We liked the board game features like the shopping for nooks and nanny as we pass go and discovering the islands. We really enjoyed playing this game and will continue to play over and over again. Overall, a great, fun, easy game for kids to play and understand.

I have three kids ages from 8 to 18 and all of them throughly enjoyed this game. The play is very different from a standard monopoly or monopoly jr game, but just as fun. This game is very colorful and the game pieces are very detailed and so cute! We love it and highly recommend this!

The board has some similarities to monopoly but the game plays a little different with only one dice and has four characters from animal crossings video game. Anyone who likes the animal crossings game will like this. My kids found it just ok. Overall I would recommend to animal crossings fans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to play after receiving the Monopoly Animal Crossing game. After set up I didn't want to play anymore. There are alot of small cardboard pieces that you pop out for set up. You have to place them all in front of the islands. This makes it hard when trying to move your player around the board. Things just falling over. Getting mixed up. You have to really read the directions to figure out who discovered the island and how many things to pick up if you land on yours or someone else's island. The players are cute. It just takes to much time and can get all mixed up to even play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my 9 year old daughter was super excited for this Animal Crossing game to come out, be I was a bit intimidated because I never played the game like she has. 1st off it comes with a few cardboard sheets of pop out token type things, which I recommend having a ziplock bag ready to store them in. Then there's 4 characters, some cards, and dice. There's still a " Go to Jail" spot which is kind of funny. Each player has to make it around the board once before collecting the 1st skill card as I understand it....but again I could be totally wrong, because when reading the instructions, I got super confused. On the back of the token things there's numbers and that's counted as money that you can spend on buying properties or when you draw a card and you have to pay the bank. I'm sure after playing some more or maybe watching a Youtube tutorial I can better understand how to play, but it's just totally different than the original game!
