Monoprice BT-205 Bluetooth 5.0 Over Ear Headphone, Built-in Microphone, 8Hrs Playtime, Lightweight, Foldable, 40mm Drivers, For Home, Work and Travel

These little headphones are seriously punching above their weight. For around $20 bucks, they are a steal. They look great, are relatively comfortable, any they sound pretty great, especially for their price. No, they don't rival my Sennheiser HD958's, but I'd venture to guess that they sound at least as as good as my old HD212 Pro's, if not slightly better. The Bluetooth 5.0 connection woks great with my Pixel 2XL phone, and while the audio codec is the basic SBC (as opposed to Apt-X or AAC) the sound is crystal clear with absolutely no sign of any aliasing, which used to be an issue with several of my older Bluetooth devices using SBC. I also tested the phone calling capability, and was told that my voice sounded clear, as was the case on my end of the call, where the phone call audio was routed into both left and right channels. Upon hang-up, the phone automatically resumed streaming music, and the phones handled the switch without an issue. Over all, I would highly recommend these headphones to someone looking for a good pair of Bluetooth headphones without breaking a bank.

For less than $20 this BT headphone rocks. Pairing w/ my Pixel 6a phone takes less than 5 seconds. The headphone is light weight and comfortable. Sound quality is good, not at the level of Bose. I have no need for noise cancelling feature thus this phone meets my needs.

Wanted a lightweight headphone to wear at the gym - to block out other people talking on the phones during their workout. This is light enough to be comfortable wearing during a run. Sound is not audiophile quality but more than suitable for my purposes and the price is an excellent value.

I just received my BT-205 headphones, and I am just as thrilled as I can be!! Thank you to Monoprice and your customer service specialists for making an initially anxious shipping challenge (no fault of Monoprice or their associates in the least) conclude in the most positive way possible. I am floored by the quality and features of such a value item! I was not expecting to see a microSD slot on the phones, and although I have never made use of a microSD card, other than as usual in a cell phone, I have definite plans for this aspect of my new favorite sound system! My great gratitude for completing my first Monoprice purchase with the urge to dance and sing!!!

Good product. Too early to tell about reliability/durability. Very light and comfortable. Stays on the ears but doesn't put too much pressure on the head. My only nitpicky complaint is the small battery capacity, but it does make them lighter, so it's a trade-off. These are actually an RMA replacement for a pair that were broken out of the box. Monoprice did the right thing and express shipped the replacement pair with no hassle.

Phones are comfortable. Bought them for two reasons....1. listen to TV at night via bluetooth so don't disturb the rest of the house, and 2. They support playback off a microsd card, so I can listen to audiobooks. The only issue is its tough to get the microsd cards out. Other than that...great deal.

The Pair of headphones is all around pretty good. Two notes with the headphones. One the headphones aren't as much over the ears than on the ears. Two the padding for the headphones is a little bit harder. Those two combined makes it hard to have the headphones on for an hour.

I bought this six months ago. The price was very reasonable. The sound quality and comfort are exceptional. Initially, a charge on the headphones lasted a long time but now several hours is all. I use it in my transcription business so keeping a charge is critical. The good news is that it recharges fairly quickly. Is it possible to replace the rechargeable battery? For light, infrequent use I recommend it but not extended use.

When I first saw these for sale, I was intrigued at the built in microSD card slot. It would be convenient to use when I did not have a Bluetooth music player with me. I decided to order a pair when Monoprice sent me a discount coupon (though the $19.99 was already a good price). When I received the headphones, the first think I wanted to do was try out the microSD card slot with some MP3's I had loaded onto it. No dice! The retaining mechanism would not hold the microSD card in. As soon as I removed my finger, it would pop out. As long as I held it in, it did play music so I knew the electronics were okay. Nothing I did could get the card to stay in even pushing it in below the earcup surface with a pencil point. I contacted customer support and they immediately sent me a replacement pair. I put the microSD card into the new pair and it again popped out like the other pair did. However, after a slight bit of fiddling (which did not work with the original pair) I did get it to click in. At that point, I found they do work well and I leave the microSD card in all the time (I am actually a bit scared to remove it in case I cannot get it back in again!). My biggest gripe about them is that the earcups are not articulating. As such, they do not adjust to lie flat on the surface of my ears. Otherwise, they are lightweight, the bass is good and the cushions do an adequate job of keeping the headphones comfortable. In comparison, I have to say that my favorite Monoprice headphones are still the Monoprice Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style (8323 with Bluetooth). They are about the same price when they are on sale though they lack a microSD card slot.

Like so many of your current over ear products, it's simply too small for me. The pads don't fit over my ears, they rest against them. The BT-200s fit my ears somewhat better. The BT500 ANC is uncomfortable as well, but not as tiny as this one. On that one the pads fit over my ears, but they're so shallow my ears are crushed into the inside of the cups, and the crossbar has so little padding that it hurts the top of my head. (I have lots of headphones, and have no problems with my AKG K240s or my Audio Technica ATS-50s, or even my Pro-Ear gold hearing protectors. It's just monoprice products that seem to be made for children, or at least non-standard humans.) That said, the sound is good, though without the pads sealing around my ears, there's some bleed through. The battery life is fine. The British accent on the "Power On!" "Connected!" "Power Off!" is hilarious. The size ruins everything, though. Please stop shrinking your product, or offer larger sizes.
