These headphones were rated a Best Buy by a national consumer group. Other products cost four to five times as much (or more) in many cases. The MonoPrice headphones do a good job of letting you connect by bluetooth to a laptop, tablet, or phone. The audio quality is much improved over the device speakers, and comprehension goes way up. The noise reduction feature works pretty good, too. You could probably spend a lot more and get a set of headphones that were marginally better, but these will get you in the game quickly for a reasonable price. The big guys will probably have come out with two or three new generations by the time you get dissatisfied with these. I bought my wife one of the "other" headphones (because she's my wife), but she tried the MonoPrice while the others were on back-order, and liked the MonoPrice well enough that she bought some as a gift for a friend. I'm using my pair with my computer and laptop, and I am tickled.
Much higher quality than I expected at such a reasonable price! They are very comfortable and fit around the ear, have good sound, the ANC works okay, and it even includes a plug-in cord which the manual says you don't get.
Headset is comfortable . It has good stereo separation and pairs well. Noise cancellation is good, I use when on a treadmill and it significantly removes the motor and belt rumble. Phone call quality when paired to phone was great. I
Works great for the money. The Noise Cancelling is not perfect, but the headphones did not cost $350.
Sound quality is very good. ANC might not be as good as Bose or Sony but these are a fraction of the price. The Monoprice are comfortable for short periods but if you wear them all day long then they can become uncomfortable. Battery recharging takes about 2 1/2 hours. During that recharging period you cannot listen to music or use the phones for ANC. They pair very easily with my iPad.
Intermittent poor sound quality attached to a newer HP Omen PC running Windows 11. Occasionally, the sound output to these headphones randomly switches to 1 channel, 16 bit, 16000 Hz (Tape Recorder Quality) from 2 channel, 16 bit, 44100Hz (CD Quality). When it does, the sound becomes terrible like listening through a telephone. The 2 channel sound option disappears and it becomes a struggle to restore it by uninstalling and reinstalling. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle especially if you want to use them for gaming... just get some higher quality headphones and save your time.
Worked well at first but when left unused for several months, the battery lost it's ability to charge and is dead now unable to be recharged. Just work as regular plug in ear phones without the noise cancelling or bluetooth. Be sure to recharge them at least once every three months as the directions say. Disappointing.
The plastic just above the ear muff broke. I was able to glue it back together but then a couple weeks later the head phones quit working. They wouldn't connect to my cell phone through WiFi. They didn't even last a year. Very sad. They should be replaced by the manufacturer.
I have had my pair for just over a year. They've fallen off my desk a few times and no longer work well. I have other pairs that have taken far more abuse and work fine. I'm disappointed they broke because I really liked the sound quality-just not very sturdy.
These were very highly rated headphones for the price, but I am thoroughly disappointed in their noise canceling abilities. I could block out just as much noise by covering my ears with my hands, and that was with the noise canceling feature on. Returning these as soon as I can.
