I held on writing a review right away to see if these were really the real deal. So far, I haven't had any issues with them, but if I ever do, I'll try to update on their longevity... I came across these by accident by searching Reddit and quite a few people mentioned that these were top quality and for the price. Reviews here were solid and consistent. I ordered 5 but only needed 3, just in case. The whole cable is worth it. The locking mechanism on both ends is what makes it especially worth it. Just knowing that it's not going to disconnect, is a reassuring feature. If and when, I ever need these cables again, I am certainly going to order them here.

I needed a right angle SATA cable coming from my motherboard to the hard drives but my motherboard SATA connector was already turn to it side rather then pointing up so I just reverse it and made the right angle on the hard drive instead and it actually work perfectly ha lol.

So I was going to keep it short and just say "it works", because you know.. it's a cable.. and it works, what else is there to say about it? But it had to be longer then 10 characters, so that how I ended up writing all this just for a SATA cable. It's a cable, it works.

I needed black, short, right/straight SATA cables for a build in a Lian Li O11D Mini case. All the other black SATA cables were either double straight, which wouldn?t work for my build since I wanted to cables to point straight back from the motherboard, or were 18? long which is a ridiculous length in a modern PC build. I found these, and they work great.

Great SATA cables for cramped desktops, especially small form factor models. And the retention clips actually work, unlike many I've seen before. Strongly recommended if your older SATA cables need replacement or if you're refurbishing and building a new computer.

I have built quite a few custom computers, and the last thing I would cut corners on are cables. The latches are very solid and these cables are flexible without being flimsy. I have used many different types of Monoprice cables and have never had a problem with a single one. It is hard enough getting all the components to play nice with each other without having to worry about cheap cables. Highly recommended.

I was looking for good cables so I did some research ...I read some forums and just about every one mentioned Monoprice cables ..so I purchased these cables ..they are top quality and price was right..now I need some Cat 6 cables and HDMI cables and will get them here
