Worked as Advertised
I purchased this cable to go in-between my printer/fax and my telephone. It works as advertised for a whole lot less than places...

25' “Data” Cable Limitation
Unfortunately, this cable did not work for me. I moved my AT&T router (Pace 5268AC FXN) farther than the 15' AT&T provided cable could reach, so I went right to Monoprice for the replacement. The 25' Monoprice data cable was not much different from a standard phone cable and the router could not sync. Just to be sure I didn't screw something up, I retested the AT&T cable and it it worked fine. I took 25' of CAT5 and attached RJ11 connectors, it worked. Maybe with another router this cable would have worked, but with the AT&T router it was a no go.

Did not work for data.
Does not work for AT&T DSL modems. Does not extend that style of line. DOES NOT WORK AS DATA CABLE.
