Had to air out cable before sending it out to be used?smells like its been in a moldy basement somewhere?.after laying it out to air out for a few days it was ok to send out to be used?with mic cords they are so close to your nose they would have complained about my equipment?I cant have that happen?.

An excellent product. The 24 awg wire size allows the cable to be very flexible and to not cause unnecessary strain on the connected devices. The star quad wire arrangement is a nice bonus.

Bought a pair of these in 3' length to add some surround channels to my HT system. They worked just fine at a reasonable price for my requirements. Not as well made of my primary balanced inputs but they do the job!

These are high quality cables both in the mechanical and electrical aspects. The cable it's self has a "Professional" feel t them. AND an awesome warranty!

Cable seems to be made very well. Good material in the wire. Time will tell how durable it is, though it looks like it?s in it for the long haul. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the unlatching button is a little hard to work. Some other XLR connectors have a little more grip than these.

I would have given this cable a five star rating, but they tied Pin 1 to the XLR shell (chassis) on both ends of a cable! This will lead to ground loops and interference, defeating the purpose of a ground lift on a DI box or other audio gear. Pin 1 of the XLR connector is the designated ground/shield pin, and its connection to the cable's shield should be made at the equipment chassis to avoid injecting noise into the audio circuit. I had to cut the pin 1 connection to the connector's chassis on both sides. This is freakin' bananas! If Pin 1 is tied to the shell at both ends of the cable, any ground lift function will not work, as the circuit is still completed through the shell.
