Monster Digital Alpha 7.1 RGB Illuminated Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound, Noise-Cancelling, Detachable Mic for PC Gaming

I got these for work. My last set was flat, uncomfortable yet functional. This one??? I'm in love with the LED lights! Sorry, I'm no professional gamer but these things see a full 50-60 hours of work per week. My ears are not sore. My voice comes through crystal clear. I show off for my team at every team meeting. I've already recommended them to my hammer crew. They're perfect - outside of some integration with certain computers (but it very well could be my security setting for work).

I got this headset for my 9 year old. She likes to do her homework on the computer with music on and no other distractions. She loved the lights on the side too. They keep out all sound from the house and give her high quality music. She removed the mic which is a great option to have. There are cheaper options out there but these are worth the price. Pros- great sound quality. Lighted on the sides. Adjustable settings. long cord. Removable microphone. Really good at noise canceling. Cons- corded Overall great headset. I highly recommend for all ages.

I was so impressed by the quality of this headset. The cushiness of the ear pads is heavenly. Then there's all the bells and whistles. To name a few there is the ability to customize your settings, backlight LED color effect, EQ modes with LED indicator, mic noise-cancelling control switch, virtual 7.1 control, and mic mute button. I think the comfy ear cups are soft and amazing. So worth it. The added features are the perfect topping!

These are beyond what I expected they have a very clear sound,noise cancelling works perfect I like the padding on the ear piece soft removable mic, extra long cord (usb) I did try to connect to my phone which it wouldn't do so basically these are made for pc

My teen son was thrilled to get these to try out. He was impressed with the comfort and the noise canceling feature. This set is very good quality. It's heavy duty, and the fact that it lights up is a bonus. He uses them to play games with his friends online on both his laptop and his PS4.

Using these for our Xbox. Got an adapter and it was so easy to hook up amd use. The LED lights are awesome and change color. Great sound and the microphone is easy to hook up and use. Others could clearly understand me. Will have to pick up a second pair since everyone loves them. Very happy with the Monster brand and their products.

Pleasantly surprised!! I was so excited to receive the Monster Digital Alpha Gaming Headset. They worked perfectly with my PC. This headset has 7.1 virtual sound, nylon cord with USB plug, and EQ control. This headset was so easy to set up. It has downloadable software to help customizes settings that work for me. I am absolutely amazed by the surround sound quality. The audio is so clear and crisp. The LED colorful lighting effect on this headset makes it so fun to wear. I really like how comfortable and lightweight this headset feels. It's not constricting and is Very easy to move in. The ear cups feel soft and cushioned against my ears. The headband is wide enough and does not slip off my head. I love how the EQ controller has the volume and mute buttons all on one controller. Making it so convenient to use. In addition, I like the flexibility of the noise- cancelling detachable Mic. Overall, this is a durable, high quality headset. I highly recommend!!!

This headset is the best one I've owned. Prior to this I was using the Astro A10 so that tells you I dont go out and get the best available but I really like this headset! It's extremely comfortable to wear so I can keep playing for hours without my ears hurting. The cushion is really thick and feels like memory foam. The headstrap is thick and cushioned too so it doesnt press into the top of my head. The mic has good sound quality and it can be taken off so you can use the headseTV to listen to music or watch movies. You can customize the light colors and how fast they flash etc. And you can costumize the sound based on your preference for what youre using the headset for. The only downsides are 1. They are wired but the wire is long so that helps 2 . The headset is for PC only, I use my PC and Xbox for gaming and that would be nice to be able to use the headset for both. Either way these work great and I would recommend them!

I needed a headset that I can hear what I'm playing/doing on my laptop in private, but sadly I not only can hear clearly with this headset of what I'm doing on my laptop but also hear what is going on around me. The colored lights on the side of the headset was cute/nice but one I didn't care about one way or other. The mic. was useful and can be adjusted if needed or taken off if you need to clean it. I don't like that I was forced to download an app just to use the headset, not even sure if there is a way around that which my laptop defense kicked in to warn me I was about to enter a dangerous area. I also didn't realize how big and bulky it was when I order it was thinking it would be smaller. This headset is good for hearing what is being done on a laptop or gaming device but doesn't cancel out any noise in the background.

I hate to leave a poor review on a product but have been so disappointed in these headphones. I thought these headphones for gaming would be really cool to have at home for my husband and I to use on our Mac computers. What I did discover was that they are meant to use on a PC, even though the package does state that the headphones will work on a Mac OS X 10.9 or greater. My Mac met all the criteria printed on the box, which is written in small print and you really have to look hard to find it. There is a free download available to customize the headphones, but the download is for PC only. With a Mac, you can't customize. I could not even make them work as just standard headphones. I am not sure if they would work on any type of gaming station, since we don't own one. I did send a request to the company with my questions but have not received an answer. At this point, if you are looking for a headset for playing games on a personal computer, I think these would be something to try.
