not copper but copper clad aluminium
this is cheap junk wire masquerading as copper when in fact this junk is aluminum and will not preform like 12 gauge wire it will be more like a 16 gauge this is very disappointing , having to use inferior junk wire , copper is still about $3.85 a pound , why would you use aluminum , this is still junk on its best day !! i would have expected better from monster cable !
