So cute !!! Very cool concept of clipping all together to keep collection together and not all over the place!
The image shows season 2 but it shares the same UPC as season 1. When I picked up my order it was season 1 so I returned it.
We get some repeats but that's the fun thing about it, you don't know what your getting until you open them.
i loved the details
My 5 yr old likes them and me too, another thing to collect
Well, it wouldn't matter since it doesn't specify what season it is, it just says blind pack in title. Just the pictures which shows a season. I'm contempt I got lagoona. They come in their own coffin locker.
Walmart was the only ones carrying series 2. They are so much cuter than series 1. Opening these with my daughter is so fun. She loves mermaids and acts like we won the lottery when we find one. Walmart pick up was easy and fast
Important: As of today (02/11/17) this listing shows images from the brand new Season 2 release of the Monster High minis blind packs. However, it looks like some reviewers (including myself) have received the older season 1 blind packs instead causing confusion on what this listing is actually supposed to be offering. For those who aren't quite familiar as to why this is an issue, yes... these are blind bags and you don't know what *figure* is inside until you open it. However, blind bags/packs (no matter the brand) come in different series or seasons (and sometimes different waves in the same series). For collectors already familiar with MHM like myself, we most likely already have season 1 collected and have specifically searched for "Monster High Minis Season 2" (which brings this specific listing up). (Side note: If you are new to MHM blind packs and don't care which season you get, feel free to skip down to my review of the blind pack figures themselves towards the end.) To the reviewer that says it "doesn't matter" what you get, I have to disagree. Unless this specifically shows both seasons and says "season/series packs may vary" - what you read and see via product photos is what you should get! It's like coming across a listing for "Hanes t-shirts" with it specifically showing white shirts. You order in your size expecting to get the white shirt in the photo but receive it in a completely different color instead. Now some may shrug and keep it ‘cause they don't mind the other color, but you can't really fault others for trying to give people the heads up that the listing is technically incorrect. With that said - what Walmart should have done to avoid confusion and time wasted on returns, is (first of all - create a correctly completed listing in the first place, specifying what season that listing is for, even if it's only the first season and no other seasons come after it) and next, create a completely separate listing (or drop down menu) for each season released afterwards. What happened here is that some Walmart locations and/or market sellers DO have MHM season 2 (blue coffins) in stock, but instead of creating a brand new separate listing for it, someone piggy-backed off of the MHM season 1 (pink coffins) listing in the store's database and simply added or updated it with new S2 pictures. Because the listing is copy/pasted or duplicated, it's even possible that there is only one UPC number for BOTH seasons instead of a different one for each in the store's database. -------------------------- TL;DR? - The listing for both seasons of MHM blind packs was entered and managed incorrectly in Walmart's store database. Even though this listing gives you the impression that you are purchasing MHM blind packs from season 2 (blue coffins), depending on what season your store location or market seller has in stock - some customers will still receive the older S1 (pink coffin) blind bags instead. -------------------------- On to the MHM Blind Pack review - For the lack of common sense in creating proper product listings, and for the pain in the butt it is to go down to your local store and return the older series, I'd give it 1 star..... The mini figures themselves though - definitely deserve 5 stars! They are incredibly cute and well made. My kiddos love the excitement of not knowing which figure they'll get. Aside from general collecting, a bonus for teachers or homeschoolers is that you can use these as alternative counters (instead of the regular rainbow bears or blocks) for teaching math, patterns, colors, or grouping. For parents, these also make great reward prizes for kids to earn. And while I didn't get the correct season for the individual blind bags, I did find the new S2 exclusive 8-pack in store and will be using them in a Valentine's activity geared towards learning more about bravery and kindness towards ourselves and others. (Check out the hashtag #KindMonsters for more info on Monster High's collaboration with Lady Gaga and the Born This Way Foundation.) (I'll leave my review at 3 stars as but will happily change it to 5 when Walmart fixes their listing and inventory issues.)
Advertising Season 2 Blind boxes but gave me a season 1. This was a horribly experience if im promised one thing but receive another.
Thought the product was much bigger
