The key is a lovely touch to open the display box. The surprise bags contain a number of cute little accessories and an outfit - the detail and material of these are great. The display box can also double up as a stand. Highly recommend for any child who loves their dolls. Age 4+ (younger child will need help with changing over of outfits).

Absolutely beautiful Monster High doll

My grand daughter was excited to get this! She loves anything spooky looking Also, her favorite color is green---and she asked for a green doll for her birthday. It was on sale, so, I was happy about that too. She loves that she can lock it up at night time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this Monster High Skulltimate Secrets Garden Mysteries Playset, Venus McFlytrap Doll with 19+ Surprises as part of Mattel's play rate and review program. My 8yr old daughter was thrilled upon seeing this doll. We both agreed the Venus McFlytrap doll had some great makeup and hair, plus her clothes and surprise accessories were the perfect finishing touches. With so many surprises, my daughter was forced to slow down a bit, and actually enjoy opening her gift. We didn't have success with getting the key to actually work, but that didn't cause any issues. Overall, my daughter thought this doll was fantastic, and she says she highly recommends it for other kids.

They include a key to open all the little doors to complete the outfits. The outfits are well made and last unlike some Barbie's. The actual packaging is pretty cool with great colours. Every doll is different and more and more keep coming out to add to her collection. The doll its self isn't flimsy and you can take the hands off which helps for a groovy outfit change
