Monster IR Remote Repeater, Extended Connection Up To 25 Feet, Control up to 4 A/V Devices, USB Powered

My TV has an IR receiver that is not very sensitive. I would have to get within three feet to activate it. The Monster IR Extender Receiver is sensitive. I put it at the TV and put the transmitter right on and pointing right at the TV IR receiver. Now the TV can be controlled from anywhere in the living room.

The kit is simple and easy to use - removing the need for an av professional to install controls for hidden devices. One “eye” (IR receivers) links to four transmitters that adhere over the sensors on your hidden equipment. We found it particularly convenient that power is through a USB connection so you don't have a take another AC power outlet up. The quality was top shelf as expected from Monster. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to simply hide IR remote devices.

Super easy and fast to install, just plug it up and place the little transmitters next to each device and the receiver on top. Everything is neatly put away and replaced with a small hardly noticeable receiver that works with all ir remotes. Now I need more for my other TVs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew this existed, I have been propping my A/V cabinet door open every time I wanted to use anything in there because the doors are solid wood and nothing could get a signal through. This made everything so simple. I can control the cable box, the Blu-Ray and the sound system without having to open the door. Install was really easy, took just a couple of minutes total. Barely even see the receiver bit so it doesn't make my setup look messy or sloppy. Range is fantastic, response is fast, I don't notice any lag in response.

The instructions in hooking up the product were very easy to read and understand. It was very easy to install. I am not tech savvy but I was able to install this with ease. The wonderful feature of this product is that all my components for my tv are hidden in my enclosed TV stand. You can put your components behind almost anything and receive the signal to control your components. I receive a great signal. This is a wonderful product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these to help with hiding all of our devices and wires we have on our entertainment center, and I am so happy I got it. With this we no longer have to have all the entertainment center cabnets open and the wires all over the place. The kit is easy to set up and use and makes hiding the devices in closed cabinets easier to use without being an eyesore. If you have the same problem I highly recommend getting it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What you get is typical Monster quality wiring. The repeater is well thought out having one input/receiver that has self adhesive tape on the flat side and 4 separate transmitters. The wire connecting the receiver to the transmitters is a generous 22 feet long then three additional feet of wires that Y off for the transmitters. There are two of the 22' & 3' Y wires and the (22' - 3'Y ) wires plug into each other. It's a nice simple set up that gives you a total of 4 transmitters. Power for the repeater is via USB that just about all TVs have now or there is an included adapter for the usb power input. This is an elegant set up that allows your components to be kept out of sight for a real clean look.

We have a closed cabinet below the tv but I have to leave the blueray player and the Apple TV on top. Set up it a little tedious with all the wires but once it's set up it creates a nice clean look.
