This MONSTER speaker cost considerably less than other brands I looked into. I didn't actually test the sounds of any of the possible units, but went ahead and decided to purchase the MONSTER speaker. The sound is very good, they are comfortable to wear, they are easy to use and pair with my phone. So overall I'm happy with them, and happy they cost about half of what some of the other units did. I haven't had them long, but I like the fact that this speaker (which I bought for walking alone, or with my dogs) is supposed to be waterproof, so if I get into a rain situation they will hopefully survive OK.
elegance yet durable sound is loud enough to be sweeping leafs with blower outside and still hear it .
I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He works in the yard all the time (retired) and keeps his phone in his pocket and never hears it. With this around his neck, he gets to listen to his music and answer his phone! He loves it and never goes outside without it.
blue tooth connection cuts out when you put something in front of neck phones up close like your head or hands. my older pair didn't have this issue
Sound is clear and the buttons are easy to access. Weighted well and stays in place even when bending over. With the speakers close to your ears, it easily drowns out background noise without having to blast the volume.
excellent on everything except ffor the location of the plug-in, it is difficult to plug in.
Auto shutoff feature doesn't work for an elderly person who can't figure it out
The charging port is hard to get open. The overall circumference is not large enough for my neck it feels restrictive. The biggest issue is that it cuts off every 15 minutes unless you're actively listening to music or a phone call. I understand they're trying to save battery but it's kind of useless if I want to use it to talk to Google or answer incoming calls as they come or occasionally have my phone read a news article. if you want to just listen to music on a continuous uninterrupted basis or podcast I guess it's okay but it's not very convenient for using for phone privacy.
It needs to Improve the quality sound, because 70% volume is break sound
When worn correctly - resting around the neck - the sound constantly cuts out. When placed incorrectly on chest or oddly straddled on the head, it has continuous sound. There is probably a wiring or circuitry issue. It could be the only broken one of the lot. But as a gift, it was a let down.
