This is such a great way to control outdoor electrical items that you don't want on all the time. We have a fan in our barn for our horses and goats that I can schedule to turn on when it is hot during the day and turn off at night when they don't need it or turn it off remotely if there is a cooler day. We also have a light plugged into the other outlet so the light can be on for them at night but it isn't wasting electricity during the day.

This product is great I love hanging out in the backyard, but I always forget to switch things on and off. It's great that I can plug Alexa into it and then I can switch her off from my phone so she doesn't listen to everything that I'm saying. I'm not very good with technology and things, but this was super easy to install on my phone and it's been great.

The weather can get pretty rough up this high, this plug is sturdy enough to handle it. I can control the balcony lights without having to go outside. There's also the option to put them on a timer. It's the best when I want those cheery railing lights on for the evening and it's freezing cold outside.

I usually use an article for a while before rating it. I just purchased this dual outlet for my outdoor lights & I chose it because it had the capability of being controlled by am app. So far so good!
