This product looks very cool, i love how it allows bluetooth or manual color change (button on back) the mounting on wall with screw is a nice thing to add.
For the $$ value it's a great light, small %26 compact, multi-position (wall, horizontal %26 vertical), lights change 2 different colors has a blue capability of lights dancing 2 music, USB powered also WIFI, APP %26 VOICE CONTROL
I bought this for my son on Black Friday. He has these on his desk and loves them. They are small but great for my needs and the price couldn't be beat. Definitely a fun way to add lighting to my son's desk.
I can create any color possible that I would like on this type of light bar.
Easy set up and smooth fades between colors
This light bar was way more versatile than I thought it would be. The preset features are fine, but not really my style (although I really enjoy the "lightspeed" setting). The best two things about this is 1. how easy it is to control literally every feature from your phone. The app is so easy to use. 2. the white light setting (can adjust this between a really warm white to a really cool white) is strong enough that I can use it to light my face while video conferencing for work. The features and level of control for this light bar at this price is hard to beat. I will say, I thought getting the light bar connected to my wifi was really difficult, but I might've been doing it wrong. When the light bar fast blinks for pairing mode and I tell the app to connect, after a few seconds the light would stop blinking but the app would say it was still trying to connect. I thought this meant the light bar exited out of pairing mode so I backed out in the app to start over or would hold the button on the light bar to enter pairing mode again. Don't do this, just let the app keep working even though the light bar is no longer blinking. I think the bar connects and the app takes a minute to finish setting up.
There are several variations of these, and two different apps. Some are single, some are a pair. Each of the types have worked for me. If you follow the instructions everything does work as described. I have them facing the wall in my office so it's kind of like a light show on the wall. Probably wouldn't pay more for them but for the price they are at, the lights are fun.
Terrible light. They said you can use it without Wi-Fi but then it just keeps very sporadically flashing. Not like connecting to Bluetooth but just hiccuping. After spending 15 minutes trying to get it connected to my Wi-Fi and add a username and password I think this is just some horrible app. Probably have not had this difficult of a set up on a simple item since the 90s
I bought two of these to use with my computer. I already have some Razer Chroma compatible hardware so I figured all I needed to do was connect to my computer. Nope. You need THREE apps to even get it working on PC, and I could barely get them to sync properly. I would have avoided these if the manual was available online.
A cheap product. First, the sync with sound does not actually sync. It just...flashes wildly. Heck, it keeps flashing randomly in complete silence. It takes AWAY from the mood you're trying to establish. Second, not bright at all. Put it behind a TV, can barely even tell there's a light back there on tge brightest setting. It is NOTHING like the brightness of the light shown on the box. Should have know the cheap price alone was a huge red flag. Never again will I purchase a Monster product. I have multi-colored aquarium led bars that I use for background lighting and they work far better than this product which is actually meant for background lighting.
