Very good!

Jan April 25, 2023

My kids never cared for tomatoes until they tasted my home grown...Now they ask me, "when will the "tomato candy be ripe to eat?" They're right, they always are so sweet and amazing, everyone here PREFERS mom's salads as opposed to having to trick them into the veggie menu. I am anxious to see this variety in action.

I love that my plants arrived quickly from Ohio, the plants were in very good shape! I did as instructed, they are strong with no wimpy trunk/stem!

Highly disappointed......

Luis June 5, 2026

I'm sure the Hirt's Garden folks have every intention to provide a good product to all their customers. However, I ordered several tomato plants and had them shipped. The plants were just about the sorriest looking bunch of saplings I have ever laid eyes on. I'm surprised a couple of them actually survived the shipping process. I didn't bother sending them back or complaining to the company on account of all the reviews stating that that course of action would be useless. I planted the couple of plants that were salvageable in my garden and now, two weeks later, they are growing. Not nearly as well as others which I picked up at the store, but I believe I will get some tomatoes out of them. Not even half the plants I paid for survived due to pitiful condition and indescribably inadequate packaging. I'm guessing that the people involved in the shipping treat the package like every other package and just throw it around, causing immense trauma to the plant. Bottom line is that I'm sure shipping plants the same way as other products looks good on paper, but in reality it doesn't work. If you want good plants, just go to your friendly neighborhood garden store, pick out the best ones and carry them home yourself. The pix show shipped Wirt's plants on the right ( I paid for SIX plants and that's all that survived) and store bought on the left, freshly planted and 2 weeks later.

Disappointed

Brenda May 14, 2021

The leaves on the plant are wilted and dry. Hoping for the best but will probably need to purchase a new plant elsewhere.
