Has everything you need to install including both kinds of USB cables, double sided mounting tape and instructions. The unit is small (about the size of a key fob - see picture), ridiculously easy to install and works great. Plug it in, press the button in the middle until the light comes on, go to Bluetooth on your phone, click the Monster-FEBO line and link up. Then do the same for WiFi. And then you are done.
Easy— plug in, it will change to say CarPlay on ur car screen. Go to Bluetooth on phone— connect to Monster… it will pair with phone, then vagabond, car play works and will show on screen. Took longer to open box than it did to set up.
Great little device, but not 100% perfect, but none of these these wireless CarPlay devices are from my experiences. I have tried countless others from Amazon and all had their quarks and issues. This device is typically quick to fire up when both my 21 Subaru Forester %26 2018 Equinox is started. Great range as I've walked from the car to the street and it is still connected! But, like others...there are times where it will just straight up error out and require a rebooting and occasional delete and repair to the phone. Not all that often but it does happen to both my wife on her iPhone 16 %26 my iPhone 14. I had to return TWO of these since they had loose connections where the USB-C plugs in. One little bump and it would disconnect and need to reboot. But both replacements have been tight so those issues are resolved. For this price, I highly recommend this item just know you will probably have a hiccup here and there and know that ALL of them do too!
Super easy to set up. My Motorola adapter died on me and Walmart delivered this within 24 hours. Pairing was simple. I've had zero issues. I leave it plugged and it just starts up by the time I back out of my garage. Excellent product for Android Auto. I don't have apple so I can't attest to that. I set this up within 3 mins in a Mazda.
It's co vienrsn but it drops the connection often
It was easy to hook up to but it is not supposed to just turn when the car is off and locked and no one is in it at all in the middle of the night and play music at top volume…. Gets better… driving down the road and it’s green;indicating in sync but won’t play music and car play goes black.
Got this is May and now it doesn’t work good thing I purchased a protection plan . What a waste just a few months and now I have to use my protection plan that is going to be a headache
Absolute piece of garbage. Phone connects to the monster device and the radio just displays a black screen with the monster device name on it. works about half the time. today i the it out of the window at 80mph
So yes you get wireless CarPlay but you also get a drained battery I have a 2020 no battery light or anything because the battery is a good new battery I sat at my dealer for 3.5 hrs to be told they watched the device constantly turn on wake up the computer and go back to sleep by the time the car computer was cutting off it would come back on I suppose you can unplug when you get out but honestly who would remember to do it every time I threw mine away I'd advise not getting this thing at all Also while it does work it lags behind when switching songs or watching a show
Constantly disconnects from phone an reconnects . My calls will also be disconnected an reconnected randomly. It requires you to connect WiFi to the device a yet it slows down your device because it tries using the monster adapters connection rather than data . DONT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY I had this less then a month an it's already glitching like it has a short .
