I love the quality and perks with this grill and only issue was the instructions for the lighting was not clear and the parts are pushed up so far we thought is was missing, took 3 days and my son figured out where it was. But over all I would definitely recommend this grill.
After receiving this wonderful grill a few days ago I finally used it last night to cook some steaks for me and my friends. The ease of using this grill was phenomenal and the porcelain burners were an incredible plus in grilling the steaks just right! The grill also looks great on my patio as I have received compliments from my friends and neighbors. I highly recommend this wonderful product!
This was the easiest grill I've ever built. Instructions were clear and everything went together great. I love that it has four swivel wheels so it turns around on a dime. Lights look great and it cooks just as it should.
I've had this grill for about one month and have used it a couple times and so far it has worked very well. It has great heat distribution and sears incredibly well and it was easy to put together. Although I haven't owned it very long, my initial impressions are very positive. We will see how well it holds up through the years. The only criticism I have is that the back of the grill is pretty open, not like an enclosed cabinet. I'm a bit concerned with squirrels and chipmunks getting into the grill, especially the drip tray, but we'll see if this becomes an issue.
I converted the grill to natural gas. It's a little extra effort but seems to work fine. Not sure about the instruction to adjust the burners by turning the screw 90° in the knob area. It didn't budge, so I'm guessing that is something that had been revised? If not, I'd like to know how to adjust it. Thank you. KP
Wow...just so impressed with all the features and the lights for night cooking. I will love to have a heavier metal lid but for the price is awesome.
So I'm really going to base this review on just the set up. It's winter in NY so I can't really get outside grilling right now. Set up took me over an hours by myself. I would recommend having someone to help. I had a lot of trouble with some of the screws not lining up correctly. Also I was missing some of the screws, not sure if I lost them or they were missing. I easily got some replacements from a local hard wear store. I Will give this grill credit it does look good, the black is nice and the blue LED lights look great. As of writing this I'm trying to get some propane from someone to light this baby up.
What I like about this BBQ is that it doesn't need a lot of space, and it does a lot for me. Has all the features you need from USB LED light which makes it look great at night to practical cooking features. For me the most important thing is that when I have a big party, I have everything under my control all together with this BBQ with no more trip to the kitchen. Side burner is as important as the main 4 burners. When I have big party, I can cook all I need at the same time; rice or stew using the side burner, vegetables using the rack, Fish or stake using the main burners. No more trips to the kitchen. My old BBQ would burn Fish but to my surprise the fish was cooked evenly without half of it being burned or not cooked. I was able to monitor the temperature easily with the thermometer. The cast iron cooking is washable easily. The clean iron makes the taste fresher. I put 4 for the rating because the assembly was difficult for me as my first time doing it myself. At the end I felt great when everything fit perfect. I definitely recommend this spite of my long time for assembly.
The grill is very nice, and is visually appealing. The only complaint is that the piece around the knobs was dented when it arrived. It don't hurt the function of the grill, but it is noticeable. The grill is large enough to host Sunday gatherings or family reunions.
Right off the bat during the very first step of assembly the swivel wheel fixing plug broke. To be fair I was trying to assemble in an unheated garage during 20 degree weather. Discouraging, but when I inquired about a replacement part, keep in mind I said nothing about being in warranty, they responded the same day in shipping the part the same day free of charge! To me that is great customer service. The grill preheats faster than my oven and maintains consistent temperature throughout with no noticeable hot or cold spots. I tried both the searing direct heat with hamburgers and found there was more flare-ups than with any grill I have owned. Cooking a turkey with indirect heat the grill performed admirably. The worst complaint comes with the instructions, they are horrible when it comes to the wiring. I still cannot get the LEDs to light and the instructions are impossible to see where the connections are. Because of the flare ups and instructions I gave it 4 stars (not really concerned with no lights) I would warn friends of the drawbacks but still tell them it's a good grill.
