Have only used it once so far. Everything worked as advertised. I cooked some burgers, and the heat seemed evenly spread and the grates cleaned well. I used the infrared grill to toast the buns. * use caution doing this because holy cow it only took 15-20 seconds!
Very pleased with my purchase, replacement of damaged parts, quality of construction and product design. Thank You.
The unit is perfect for my balcony. Its shape and design is impressive and modern. The gauge of the panels is better than the competition. Most are made out of 18ga this one is out of 14ga which is more durable. It is more structural than others. The one thin that I don't understand is the battery operated lights on the dials. Can't figure out how to turn them off. They stay on at all times.
As a private chef, I am in many many homes with a lot of outstanding equipment. I ordered this grill from a recommendation from a friend. And I am so completely happy. I use a gas grill quite frequently, sometimes more in New England winters than I do my Big Green Egg. I knew when I unboxed it the quality was superior. Putting it together was a breeze. (Thank you online video, guys!) I have had this for a little over a month now: searing beef, grilling vegetables, steaming lobsters on the side burner. Incredible heat and sear. Seriously, incredible. It's fast to preheat, making my time needed elsewhere easy to coordinate. The first grill was flank steaks. My old grill was never as up to the task as the Monument. When I like a product, I like to review for others. There is no other grill for me as a professional chef. My only complaint: I waited far too long to buy it. Happy Days.
Easy to assemble color was spot on well made love how you can pull bottom tray out to wash it and cooks evenly absolutely love it
Love it! Have cooked on it a few times now and it's quick to heat, evenly cooks, and looks fantastic.
So far I love my grill and the directions they sent with the BBQ were easy to follow. It looks great and hopefully I will get many years of using it.
This is a very nice grill but could be improved. I really like the window to see whats going on inside the hood. I was disappointed that the grill cabinet floor and inner door panels were not a stainless material. Also disappointed the drip tray panel holder slots are not wide enough or the drip tray panel could be longer. I say this due to the panel already falling out of place when moving grill across my deck. The lighted dials are ok and the light button could have been installed on the control panel front and not on the side. I like the larger wheels compared to my old grill but the office chair style wheels seems cheap. The overall stainless material used on this grill is thinner than my old grill. Panels seem a touch flimsy to me. The flame timers are a loose fit and could have been longer. Some of the assembly screws are hard to get at for the sear station and the side burner. The grill cover is made of a very nice water proof material. I do like the grill overall and these are just my thoughts.
It's a good grill. The window is helpful and so is the temperature gauge. Unfortunately, the lid arrived bent, so it hangs over one side and makes it difficult to fold the shelves. But there's no way I'm disassembling it and sending it back. As I said the grill is fine, but probably a little more style over substance. I don't think it grills any better or differently than my old grill that was a lower price point but the other features I mentioned are nice. Overall pretty happy with it.
As I was building my grill everything was going great but once I put the grill on it's place to bolt down noticed it had damage and rust already and chipped paint and the lid was not closing flush and even I have pictures I took while building and then as I finished I noticed I needed another battery pack for the thermostat to work so I'm not sure if it wasn't packed in or it's another purchase I would have to do .
