The couch is sturdy and comfortable, though the seats are very high density foam. This is probably for the best since underneath the cushions there is only really a couple of springs that run front to back instead of up and down. Despite how firm the seat cushions are, the back cushions are quiet soft, and a little thin. I gave this 5 stars because I've sat on it for hours, laid on it while watching TV, and don't regret my purchase at all. The arm rests even have a respectable amount of cushion. I was surprised, and given the money (159 at the time of writing), I think its a strong buy. The color is true to the image, and the legs screw into a metal fastener so they should hold up for a while. I'm 150lbs and my friend is 250. We sat on this couch and it never creaked or seemed to have problems supporting our weight. I've had it for a week now, and I'm happy with it. The only worry I have is with how the pieces "fit" together. I wonder if a lot of pressure against the sides (going inside towards the outside) would wear the "slide in" fasteners out after a while. I don't think this is a worry with the back because of the different angle. It's difficult to explain. Assembly was easy, though sliding the back of the couch down was a bit tricky (I had to put one side up against a wall to hold it in place as I was the only one home at the time). There wasn't an odor when I received it. This is a perfect short-term couch. I think I could make it last a couple of years easily. If I move it's really light and can be dissembled easily since there were no screws.

Perfect loveseat for two! Soft fabric, comfortable and plush cushions. Took about 30 minutes to assemble with 2 persons. I was skeptical with the great value. It's a fantastic couch!

I bought this sofa for my small she-shed and it's perfect. It is very stylish and the assembly was fast and easy. The cushions plumped up quickly and look good. This is a smaller scale piece of furniture great for small rooms.

Could use more support in the back cushions - other than that it's very firm %26 would have received a 5 if my lumbar didnt start to hurt. I ordered pillows. I referred my dad %26 he'll be purchasing one for his living room in the tan color. I picked the grey blue %26 it's a beautiful color.

The shipping was all over the place. Took longer to arrive than claimed when ordered. Over all looks nice and comfy for price..

It is not velvet which I'm upset about because my cats won't claw velvet so I specifically was looking for that and I don't wanna deal with returning it and getting a different one. However, I do still like the couch. It's perfect for my studio apt space and cute. I wouldn't say it's the sturdiest but it's just me so it's fine. Definitely not a couch if you have kids or rowdy pets. Assembly is extremely easy. I had help and it maybe took us 5 minutes. You could easily assemble yourself. Also in the picture the wood on the bottom is a light color but it comes dark (which I prefer)
