NOT MEMORY FOAM, but that's a good thing. This is made of a gel-like foam that bounces back very fast. The softness/firmness of this pillow is great, and it's very supportive and comfortable.

Soft and pliable
I tried a plastic one for germs but it hurt my back. This one is soft and comfortable. I returned plastic one. Husband had heart surgery and it worked great as a cough pillow also since it is movable and shapable.

Great, firm lumbar pillow
Well made and foam is firm. It does support my back. I also use it while lying on side. There is a small strap on one end and I'm not sure why it's there.
