I have a 14" Simmons Alcove mattress for reference. I have been using the standard 12" protector for basically the life of my queen size bed, and now I finally can stop fixing the fitted part multiple times a week. The MOONORAH brand protector is functional, and you get exactly what you pay for. I would buy this product again, especially if it's still the cheapest option. I don't notice directly any lacking qualities that Walmart's house brand would have.
I appreciated that this mattress protector was very budget-friendly! I didn't have much to spend and this one was within budget. When I received it, I was happily surprised by the soft top. I washed it and it came out great. My husband is a sweaty sleeper and he actually hasn't complained - which is a good sign! Overall I am happy with my purchase and have yet to run into any concerns.
I have had 2 of these great, lightweight, well-fitting mattress protectors for quite a few years, and finally, one of them wore out at the side-seams. I could have repaired it but chose to be good to myself and order a new one.
This was better made with more padding than I was expecting at this price. Fits perfectly on my mattress and it doesn't feel like other waterproof mattress covers I've owned. It's not noisy or makes me too hot.
