Can't Get There From Here

Mike July 30, 2016

I have several "older-style" solar-powered LED lights around my yard which can utilize only NiCd rechargeable batteries. I have tried other "newer-technology"rechargeable batteries, which are about all you can get in today's stores. Unfortunately, the charging circuitry in my "older" fixtures is designed specifically for NiCd batteries,; the "newer" types simply do not work; you can't get there from here ! It seems that the only sources for NiCds are "on-line" so that's how I ended up at WalMart's website. I knew that if anybody would have these at a good price, it would be WalMart. These NiCd batteries have performed excellently in my "old-fashioned" yard lights, and I will definitely be ordering from you again. Thanks for supporting a necessary, if old-fashioned, product

Solar Ni-Cd

WMDavey November 17, 2016

The MOONRAYS batteries are of heavy duty construction; and this is a great use of Cadmium with a daily charge and then nightly discharge which maintains a full deep cycle available for the battery performance. Unlike the use of Cadmium for power tools where they sit day after day connected to a charger and then are used only for short periods which builds some kind of an ion barrier that then reduces the amp hours available.

Ni-Cd Batteries for Solar garden lights

Brotherisatechie September 6, 2016

I had bought solar garden lights years ago and they finally stopped working. These are the best value Ni-Cd 600-mAh batteries I could find. They worked in my lights that required two batteries, but didn't work in my older lights that only required one battery per light. I am sure that it must be because the little light bulb burnt out.

Best solar rechargeable AA batteries

OneNerd May 2, 2015

They may be only 600 mAh, but they stay on for almost 12 hours. These batteries are fantastic and a much better bargain than buying 4 for about the same price of another brand. They make my 7 year old walmart solar lights shine brighter than even the new ones.

Just what I needed

Louie July 18, 2016

Looked for batteries for my outdoor solar pathway lights. These were far and away the best priced, and with free store pickup its a deal I couldn't pass up.

Less than thrilled

RetiredVP November 26, 2013

I purchased and received two packages of eight batteries each. The products arrived promptly but after opening and using the first package, only 7 of the eight batteries functioned properly. I was forced to use an older battery from another lamp. I am suspicious that the other package will yield similar if not worse results. Very disappointing.

Moon ray batteries internet purchases

Solargirl2 September 16, 2014

I received a box of 8 batteries with expiration date of 10 2013. I have 6 lights and only can get 4 to work with my new batteries. You have to open package to see expiration date. How good is that?

Purchased these because info stated guaranteed to work on ANY solar light. Well they don't. 3.2v 250mAh. Returned walmart don't have any that would be comparable with my solar light that I purchased last year. Had to call the manufactor. Bummer

“Solar Batteries"

WalMartShopper813 July 14, 2016

I had a hard time finding solar batteries and saw these. I'd suggest no one purchase these. These are NOT “Solar” …. the batteries stayed on 24/7 till they drained - within a few days. These were in several different solar garden stakes. I'm very disappointed and hope Wal-mart checks into this company.

Did not work.

Did not work. Very disappointing because they are hard to find in a store. I'll be returning them for a refund at the store.
