This is worth every penny
The two sizes makes it great for different size projects. The hoops grip your project and it keeps your material nice and tight. The spacers put enough room between the hoops for your hand (I used it for small rug hooking projects and punch needle). Easy to use.

This is not fancy but it works and it gives you the extra height. I will be using it on cross stitch

Boost Your Creativity
I've admired this from afar and finally could get it. Wish they still made it out of wood, but this will do. Allows me to sit in my recliner while embroidering.
