These are my favorites of the MorningStar farmers burgers, and I've dried them. All the grillers crumbles were great in spaghetti and chili. Sometimes I have these on a croissant, melt a little cheese on top. Other times I do it like a burger on a Walmart, bakery burger bun with lettuce and tomato and sautéed mushrooms and onions. It's practically a complete meal!
I keep Morning Star products on hand - especially Garden Burgers because they are low carb %26 high protein for 100 tasty calories! I put them in oven, or microwave or toss in dry pan- all easy prep. I use them on bread, in pita, on salads or crumbled into chili or soup.
I LOVE Morningstar Farms plant based food! I have been a loyal consumer since the 80s when I first discovered them at a health food store in Southern California. I regularly use the Original Grillers, Grillers Crumbles(which I use in my vegetarian shepherds pie), Soy Sausage Links, Garden Veggie Burger and Spicy Black Bean Burger. They are all really tasty and have great realistic texture and are good, clean sources of protein. Great ingredients and calorie stats. They keep well in the freezer and quick to thaw for easy use. The re sealable bag on the pouched products is really convenient too. I am so happy to find them at my Walmart in Iowa!
Was very surprised %26 also since I've gotten off of red meat for several years %26 really care much for the taste anymore I still wanted a burger now %26 then. I put the veggie burger in little skillet, follow the directions %26 in just a few minutets it's done, without the mess hamburge makes. Does't shrink up stays true to size, %26 looks like meat. With the addition of the rest of whatever you pile on to finish up I can't tell the difference. Added bonus compare 4 burgers made this way as compare 4 burgers with meat. Will be buying again!!!
Nice flavor. Having been a vegetarian for 30 years, Morningstar products have been my “go to” for alternative proteins. I prefer Morningstar over all the other Veg/Vegan brands. These are better when cooked on the stove rather than microwaved, but either way works. I wish they were sold in larger packages!
I love these veggie burgers have tried several brands. And the kids like them as well I do add alittle of seasoning and cheese. I prefer these to regular beef patties. I was introduce to this brand over ten years ago they never disappoint.
I LOVE THESE SO MUCH THAT I HAVE ONE OR SOMETIMES TWO EVERY DAY, THEY ARE SIMPLY DELICIOUS!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO SOMEONE WHO WOULD RATHER NOT EAT A HAMBURGER!
morningstar grillers taste just like a quality burger, these are a unique dish because they have actual veggies sliced in them, its a nice change once in awhile
I'm sorry to say that I can't recommend these due to the taste. They tasted much better before Morningstar changed the ingredients by removing the egg whites to make them vegan. I'm not a big meat eater so I still eat them occasionally for a sandwich.
The burger substitute tasted like Thanksgiving stuffing. The second time I tried them in a Big Mac-style, I soaked the patty in steak sauce and burger seasonings, but it still tasted like Thanksgiving. So, they're just not going to work for me.
