Can't there be a two-pack deal including base coat and top coat for a great price? The brush lines are clean. I just put a top coat on my toenails, and the polish was smooth. I didn't really have to layer it on. Great so far.

I've got a bunch of Morovan nail kits, and what I really needed was a chemically similar base and top coat (the same brand) so they can work and bond better together, giving you a manicure that can resist chipping and last longer than having different brands for each layer of prepping and coloring the nails. I love that these are full-size and just as big as regular nail polishes, not some mini set that wouldn't cover more than a few manicures. Very happy with high-quality, good size, and ability to work with my same brand nail polishes!

I was a nail biter for 40-ish years and finally quit a few years ago. I am trying to catch up on my manicure skills. It ferls like a slow process. I recently learned the importance of using a base coat and top coat. Also, the wonderful lady I take care of is unable to tend to her own nails and really likes having her nails done. We are trying to find products and techniques that work best for both of us. I am very pleased with these products.

What I like is that the brush is rounded so that you can paint as close to the cuticle as possible. The base coat went on really well and it was pretty thin in texture. I had a bit of difficulty trying to get the top coat to pick up on the brush. Since the bottle is new, I shouldn't have any trouble getting any amount of top coat on the brush but it took several times of trying to dip it into the bottle to get a good amount. After I was done painting my nails, though, I was pretty happy with the results since it seemed to have done its job. I was home so didn't wear shoes or anything, I even waited an hour before putting on sandals. However, even after an hour, it seems like it didn't truly dry because I have a huge slit right in the middle of my painted big toe nail. Not happy that I have to re-do that one nail because it's so obvious.
