Morton Clean and Protect Water Softener Salt Pellets, 40 lb

The bags that were delivered were pretty damaged and Water got to them, but they fixed it for me. Installation was not easy but I had help. I would recommend this product but I also would recommend that the price come down too. The price is getting crazy.

Great for seniors (me and my husband) to be able to have this heavy item delivered. Our thanks to the young lady who delivered multiple 40 lb. Bags of salt to us!

These are the only Water Softener Pellets we use in our unit, as it also is supposed to help maintain the unit by keeping it clean. It is a little difficult for a 70 year old female to carry the bags so I coordinate my shopping for pick up at the store, so an employee has to get it and then load it in my vehicle.

This is the product and delivery system that I always use, quality, pricing, The only complaint I have is: I continually ask that the salt be delivered to my garage door (Set bags in front of the garage door) , and they constantly leave it on my front steps. These bags weigh 40 LBS. I am 67 years old and have to bring the bags down the steps and into the garage. It's only 3 feet from the stairs to the garage not including 5 steps. At my age this type of buying water softener salt is the most practical (except for the dis-regarded instructions). Hope fully after this review that issue WILL be corrected.

I watched my computer and when they said it was going to be delivered I went outside and the Wal Mart Driver showed up and he actually unloaded them (40 pounds) into my garage so I did not hwat to carry them, 70 years old, so the driver was very helpful and a true gentleman.

The product was fine, and so was the delivery. I belong to Sam's club and Amazon and the things I wanted to buy were below the minimum so I dropped the program and will not use the credit card that is part of the program

I ordered ice melt that was safe for pets. They substituted salt pellets for treatment system instead. They did not melt the snow/ice in my driveway, they were not safe for my dogs. They were not intended to melt anything. I don't think the pellets are a bad product. Walmart offers poor delivery service .

I ordered this and who ever the delivery person was he or she delivered it to some house that was not mine the person even took pictures of that house it just simply was not my house I have no idea what those people thought seeing that person taking pictures of their house and leaving a bag of salt at their door but he or she did not leave it at my house so I am not happy with that delivery to some one else just not me very unhappy

I last ordered salt on june 8th and thought I was able to get 20 lb bags. Unable to return bags of salt to walmart because manage could not find where I had purchased. Earlier in the day a employee found my order but said I would have to have my sams card available to give credit to my return. I hurried home a 30 minuete drive and went back to walmart a couple hours later and was told by the manager that the sale could not be found for the salt. I received 10 bags of salt now sitting in the trunk of my car with no one to empty and to deliver the salt to my basement. My husband is 83 with 4 back surgeries and I am 82 years old and unable to lift 40 pounds with compressed vertabre in my back and heart trouble and lupus. So there you go, I was under the impression that walmart carried 20 lb bags of morton salt.

So I ordered 6 bags I have had 3 deliveries an I have 3 bags of the 6 so far and their saying 1 has been delayed. It's been 10 days since I ordered absolutely ridiculous. I new better though I have problems every time I try Walmart.i will not try again.
